Congratulations, Bob Dylan, Nobel Literature Prize Winner for Poetry! And fuck you, Deadbeat Douchebag Donald "PERVERTED celebutante CREEPER pussygrabber freeloader-in-thief-wannabe tiny-fingered weak girly-man UNATTRACTIVE FAT LOSER" Trump!

Greetings, fellow Dot Calm Readers, Freedom Fighters, and Truth Crusaders!

I still can't believe that Deadbeat Douchebag Donald "PERVERTED celebutante CREEPER pussygrabber freeloader-in-thief-wannabe tiny-fingered weak girly-man UNATTRACTIVE FAT LOSER" Trump, who has said and done nothing but disqualifying things since forever, is still in this race...at all. He is the textbook definition of corrupt. He is the textbook definition of lawbreaker. And yet tens of thousands--way too many
--Americans are just so jazzed by his message of bigotry and hate...by all the negativity...by all the conspiracy theories...by all the empty slogans being sold as "plans"...so, of course, he is still in the running. FUX Noise and the Republicans built this. They've spent the last 30 years setting up all the dog whistles, and the corporate media have spent nearly as long hating Hillary for not staying home baking cookies. All Drumpf has done is say out loud, without the usual code words, what FUX, Republicans, and the corporate media have been saying all along: all Blacks are criminals; all Latinos are just illegal Mexican immigrants and criminals; women are nothing but objects of sexual gratification for men; and white men have been wronged by all these groups who want and fight for equal rights they don't deserve. The only difference is that Drumpf comes right out and says it all without the politically correct code words.

Our country is in such a state that these messages are welcome to a significant proportion of our population. Drumpf says what FUX and the other haters have been teaching their adherents to believe for the last 30 years.

DONALD JOHN TRUMP IS THE BEST REPRESENTATIVE OF THE 2016 REPUBLICAN PARTY. He does what they all wish they could do--steal, crush the little guy, freeload off the government tax free--and he says out loud exactly what they are all thinking but are too chickenshit to say.

Sickening.

And they all hate Hillary Clinton less for anything she's ever done--which is no worse than anything that any male politician has ever done--than for who she is: a successful, accomplished, intelligent, educated, powerful woman out there in the world doing what she has a passion for. Not staying home baking cookies. FUX and the rest of the corporate media have been trying to destroy Hillary for over 20 years. They must be shitting themselves that she's been so indestructible. Now they're all forced to realize that she's their only chance--their savior--from the total nuclear Trumpocalypse they've spent the last 30 years creating.

Yeah, yeah--I know that Republican tears are yummy. But look at all the destruction these assholes wreaked to drag us all to this awful point in our history. If they could have dragged us back to the intellectual, scientific, moral, and societal developmental level of the 1500s, they would have. Gladly. They've fought progress on every front since before this great nation was even founded.

I blame our education system to some degree, but Republicans in media and government shoulder the brunt of the blame. They are the ones who repealed the fairness doctrine. They are the ones who spent the last 30 years buying up all the media so they could sell these messages of hate, anger, and fear and create the alternate reality that supports them and allows candidate Donald J. Trump to thrive.

It's to the point where Trump supporters don't even care that their boi has personally ripped off hundreds of ordinary Americans like them who have worked for him. They don't even care that their boi is a bigger freeloader and Welfare queen than those on Welfare. They don't even care that their boi sexually assaults women every chance he gets and brags about it. They don't even care that their boi, who sells himself as a "businessman," is a total fraud whose only talent in business is losing money and going bankrupt. They don't even care that the only reason their boi is wealthy is that his daddy gave him a $40 million head-start, which he's squandered. Why should they care when there's just so much to love here? Donald J. Trump hates all the right people; he's as ignorant about the world, people, science, and business as his followers; and that's exactly how they all like it. They're not only proud about it--they're smug about it. Only he has money...and power...so he's everything they wish they could be. Donald John Trump is the stuff that teabag wet dreams are made of.

Donald Trump called it: he really could shoot someone
--right in front of all of all of his adherents at a rally--and not lose one of their votes. Especially if he shot a Black, Latino, LGBTQ+, woman, veteran, disabled person, Muslim, Jew....

That's how crazed they are. That's how crazed we are as a nation. Deadbeat Douchebag Donald "PERVERTED celebutante CREEPER pussygrabber freeloader-in-thief-wannabe tiny-fingered weak girly-man UNATTRACTIVE FAT LOSER" Trump is the culmination--the crowning glory of achievement--of the last 30 years of Republican propaganda and media manipulation. They wanted Americans to vote against their own self interests religiously, so they created the religion...a religion that disrespects and denies the very science that enables Republicans and media to exist and to function in the first place...and here we are.

I hope they're happy. It makes me want to puke.

Friends, that's all I've got for right now. I think maybe I'm too pissed off to write more. Except that I really do need to give a shout-out, however brief, to Bob Dylan, who's spent his whole career speaking the truth to power and protesting the unacceptable in the only way he could: musical poetry that most definitely qualifies as literature. I am so pleased that he won the 2016 Nobel Prize for Literature in Poetry. It is an honor well deserved.

Anyhoo, if this isn't enough rant for ya, the headlines and m00bies below, which have the usual little commentaries, say it all.

Trump's "Law And Order" Means Blaming Victims For Being Raped
...Trump defended Mike Tyson when he was accused of rape, and he defended Bill Clinton when he was accused of rape, calling Clinton's accusers "losers" until it was politically convenient to trot them out at the second debate this year--either way, Donald Trump sees women as objects and tokens to do with as he pleases...either for his own sexual gratification or as props for a debate. With Tyson, Deadbeat Douchebag Donald LOSER Trump had a lot of money at stake--if Tyson got frog-marched away, ickle Donsie Wonsie stood to lose a crap-ton of revenue from the boxing match Tyson was scheduled to fight at Trump's hotel.

Anita Hill speaks out on Trump sexual assault allegations: America still doesn't trust victims
...Of course not! Again, just ask Brock Turner or the women who finally all came out against Bill Cosby. ...Dot Calm's younger daughter remembers Anita Hill well. As an 18- and 19-year-old working a summer job at a big company for desperately-needed college tuition money, she had the very old and very powerful supervisor put his hands on her inappropriately and make suggestive remarks. She put up with it for the first summer because society had trained her that it was her fault, and she didn't dare risk this important source of college tuition money. But when it started happening again the next summer, she knew she couldn't deal with another whole summer of that bullshit. So she wracked her brains trying to figure out what to do...how to save herself without losing her job. So, the next time the old lech grabbed her waist, she turned to him, smiled as sweetly as she could, and said, "If you touch me again, I'm telling Daddy." Turns out that "Daddy"...Mr. Calm...was no insignificant personage at the company. The old lech ceased and desisted, and little Ms. Calm had a peaceful summer. But she never told a soul--including her loving and supportive parents--until Anita Hill. Until then, like I said, she figured it was her own fault and/or a normal part of being a woman in the workforce. I asks ya--when are we as a society finally gonna learn that women are people, too?!??

From HillaryClinton.com--We've all heard "Lock her up"...There's also "Hang her in the streets"!!!!!

Friend --

The night after the debate, Donald Trump held a rally, and footage someone took with their phone was posted online. As the crowd started its familiar chants of “lock her up,” Trump renewed his claim that he’d appoint a special prosecutor to go after Hillary.

The crowd cheered wildly, and then voices throughout the audience started to yell:

“Hang her in the streets.”

Trump's response? Did he shush them? Tell them that threats and jeers have no place in our politics? Ask them to leave?

Of course not. He said nothing -- then told the crowd that he’s never been so ashamed of our country than he was of Hillary.

I don’t know about you, but Hillary makes me damn proud to be a part of her team -- and I’m going to be even prouder when she wins this election and we show Trump once and for all that his way of doing things is simply not the American way of doing things.

While Trump threatens Hillary -- and incites calls for violence -- our team is going to spend the final four weeks of this campaign talking to undecided voters about all the good Hillary will do for our families and our nation. The stakes are just too high to risk cutting corners or not having enough resources to close this out strong.

I hope you’re proud today -- because of you, our campaign to end the culture of selfishness and corruption that allows Wall Street banks and executives to rip off working people without any consequences just scored a powerful victory a few moments ago.

After his company was caught scamming consumers by pressuring employees to open fake checking and credit accounts, Wells Fargo CEO John Stumpf has finally announced his resignation.

And while he will surely leave Wells Fargo with a sizable golden parachute — an all-too-common example of Wall Street greed and arrogance — this is a key victory because the only reason Stumpf is leaving is because millions of people in this country came together and demanded it.

We must build on this important win and continue to grow our movement until we’re strong enough to force Congress to unrig our political and economic systems, so we can make sure nothing like Wells Fargo scams ever happen again in this country.

If you can, please add a contribution to support my re-election as we enter the final stage of this race. My campaign is fueled by supporters like you, not people like John Stumpf.

If you've saved payment info with ActBlue Express, your donation will be made automatically:

It cannot become normal for Wall Street banks to get away with stealing from the American people. This has been one of my fears since the financial crisis, and I’m grateful to see some measure of progress today.

But the fight is far from over.

We need the Department of Justice to investigate and prosecute any and all Wells Fargo executives who were involved in these fraudulent activities — and we need Congress to act swiftly to bring fairness and equality back to our economy and financial sector, which starts by breaking up Wells Fargo for good.

Please consider making a critical contribution to support our re-election campaign in the closing weeks of this race

You deserve a system that works for you, not against you, and that is the kind of system we will continue to pursue as our movement for change grows each and every day.

Aloha,

- Tulsi

DGA via Daily Kos--Republicans can't make America great again by ruining education

Please sign your name if you agree Republicans are ruining the future for children everywhere by slashing education funding. Click here to sign the petition.

Public education is essential to the future of our country. Unfortunately, it’s under attack by Republicans slashing funding at the state level. Throughout history, Republicans have cut funding for education in order to balance the budget.

Students are then left with inadequate educational resources to help them achieve success.

Democrats are investing in children through education, pre-kindergarten programs, and affordable higher education. We need more Democrats in charge of education funding at the state level.

Sign the petition from the Democratic Governors Association (DGA) to STOP Republicans from ruining the future for children everywhere.

Keep fighting,

Too many insider politicians have waffled on the Trans-Pacific Partnership, saying one thing in public, another in private, and tailoring their position to the audience. The TPP is a disastrous trade deal that the Obama administration wants to push through a lame duck Congress right after the election.

I know how the insiders waffle on the TPP. That’s what Debbie Wasserman Schultz did in my recent primary. She told labor unions that she was against the TPP, while telling editorial boards she’s still undecided and needs to study the agreement further. But what’s to study? The TPP text was released to the public nearly a year ago.

So we already know what’s in the TPP. It will outsource millions of American jobs to countries that completely disregard human rights, such as Brunei, where homosexuality is punishable by death by stoning. And Malaysia, which is one of the world leaders in sex trafficking.

And this week, the Vietnamese government arrested Nguyen Ngoc Nhu Quynh, a blogger who had criticized the state’s handling of a toxic chemical spill at a foreign-owned steel mill. She was charged with “spreading propaganda against the state” and faces a possible 12-year prison sentence. Just like China, Vietnam is a one-party communist state, without free elections, without basic political rights, and without freedoms of expression, assembly, and association.

But isn’t this the point of the TPP? To make it easier for companies to outsource jobs to countries that will repress their citizens to please foreign investors. Large corporations will make huge profits by offshoring jobs to repressive regimes that repress advocates for labor organizing, environmental protections, and democracy.

The TPP was the first issue that drew me into my race against Wasserman Schultz. I am not giving up on this fight, not with the TPP vote quickly approaching. We’ve made this a top priority at Progress For All. We will not endorse candidates that waffle on the TPP. We are speaking out against the TPP everyday and we will soon be taking it to the streets of Washington, D.C. at the March to Take Back Democracy on Sunday, October 23rd.

Your contributions will help us support progressive candidates who oppose the TPP. More importantly, it will send an unmistakable message to insider politicians like Wasserman Schultz that if they vote for the TPP during the lame duck Congress, they will surely face stiff primary challenges in the future.

Keep the faith and thank you for your continued support.

In solidarity,

Tim Canova

From Avaaz--The last of the tigers

Dear friends,

Banks are dishing out millions to build a planet-frying coal plant, right next door to the mega forest that’s home to some of the last Bengal Tigers. It’s the worst example of our disconnection from nature and corporate greed gone mad, but we can stop it.

After a leaked UN report slammed the project in Bangladesh, we went straight to the international banks. Now they’re scrambling to figure out what to do and how to protect their brands from a global scandal. If we turn up the pressure on JPMorgan, Crédit Agricole and others, we can make this so toxic that they’ll quit the project for good.

Both JPMorgan and Crédit Agricole have ditched similar projects in the past. Let’s build a million-strong cry to save the tigers and convince their CEOs to pull out.

Click here to save the last tigers

The Sundarbans is the world’s largest mangrove forest and one of the few places on Earth with over a hundred Bengal Tigers. It’s been classified as a World Heritage Site because it’s such a uniquely biodiverse ecosystem.

UNESCO and experts agree that building the giant Rampal coal plant next door would seriously harm the mangrove forest and the species living there.

JPMorgan has a policy to not harm World Heritage sites. Deutsche Bank said it won’t finance a coal project that threatened the Great Barrier Reef. And Crédit Agricole pledged to not invest in Rampal. But they’re helping raise cash for this deadly project, and now they know it’s an environmental disaster! Let’s call them out and get them to pull their support.
Local activists have been fighting hard to stop the plant. Now, they're calling on us for help. Let’s get a million voices to save the tigers’ home from dirty coal:

Click here to save the last tigers

We know about the threat of climate change to our existence, but we’re only beginning to understand another great crisis -- biodiversity loss. This much is clear -- the last few unspoiled parts of our Earth must be protected to sustain our intricate ecosystems. They mustn't be opened up to the most polluting energy on Earth! Let’s come together to make sure our planet wins over corporate profit in the Sundarbans.

With hope and determination,

Risalat, Iain, Alice, Christoph, Luca, Fatima, Ricken and the whole Avaaz team

We’ve got a new ad, and this one might be our favorite yet. You’re going to want to see it:

Help us get this message on the air by making an urgent $3 or more today. In these final days we need your support now more than ever.

We all heard the Trump tapes released last Friday. It’s hard not to be disturbed by Trump bragging about sexually assaulting women, saying that because he’s famous, he can do whatever he wants.

Perhaps what’s more disturbing is that our opponent, Darrell Issa, STILL supports Trump. On Monday, Darrell published an op-ed in the DC insider newspaper The Hill, defending Trump with lines like these:

“Whatever direction a President Trump would take, it’s a different and better one than the course we are certain Hillary Clinton will travel every day.”

We had to read that one twice. Darrell Issa actually believes that a president who boasts about sexually assaulting women will lead our country in a better direction. How incredibly sickening.

“I am particularly hopeful that the Bush family of two presidents and a successful governor will reconsider and support the party that continuously supported them during trying times in the past.”

We don’t agree with either President Bush on much, but with both of them saying Trump is unfit to be president, we think they probably know what they’re talking about. It’s refreshing to see Republicans dump Trump, even if it’s what we’ve been saying all along. They’re refusing to support him because they know he would be a disaster for the American people.

There was this one line, though, in Issa’s op-ed that stuck out:

“Republicans need to get real and admit hard truths.”

Republicans do need to do this, and Issa should start by taking his own advice.

Seriously, Darrell, Trump is sexual predator, a misogynist, a racist, and an egomaniac. If you can’t tell that by now, you’re unfit to be a congressman.

Thank you,

Team Applegate

From Daily Kos--Update on the Trumpocalypse

Something truly amazing is happening before our eyes: A skilled arsonist named Donald Trump has doused a major political party in kerosene and set it aflame—all the while convincing most of its members to remain aboard and get burnt to a cinder with him. And one charred victim of this conflagration may well be Speaker Paul Ryan and his majority in the House of Representatives.

A new poll shows just how hot the fire has gotten. According to a survey from NBC and the Wall Street Journal taken in the wake of Trump’s Access Hollywood hot mic tape, voters now say they'd prefer to see Democrats control Congress by a 49-42 margin. That's up from just a 48-45 edge a month ago, but more crucially, it's also right around the mark we'd need in the national popular vote to take back the House.

We need to take advantage of the unique opportunity Trump offers. Daily Kos has already endorsed 11 candidates for the House who are all running in the kind of difficult races that we'll need to prevail in if we're to win the 30 seats we need to recapture the House majority. Now we're adding three more to our slate.

Can you chip in $1 to each of three new Daily Kos-endorsed candidates to help them fan the flames that Trump's ignited?

The same poll finds Hillary Clinton punishing Trump by a huge 46-35 spread, which again is an increase from her 43-37 lead in September. And two new polls released this week show similar numbers: Clinton is up nine in both a PRRI/The Atlantic poll and in an NBC News poll. That's three new polls that show a Democratic landslide in the works—and that's why we're going on offense.

Our three new endorsed candidates are:

  • Beekeeper Michael Eggman in California's 10th Congressional District
  • Former police officer Lynn Coleman in Indiana's 2nd Congressional District
  • Navy veteran John Plumb in New York's 23rd Congressional District
Make no mistake: None of these contests will be easy to win. But the good news is that the Republican incumbents in all three of these races—Jeff Denham, Jackie Walorski, and Tom Reed—have refused to drop their endorsements of Donald Trump, which means they're prepared to get roasted to a crisp, too. We have four weeks left. It's time to pull out the bellows and start pumping.

Please chip in $1 to each of our newly-endorsed candidates now and help turn the House blue.

Keep fighting,
David Nir, Political Director
Daily Kos

From UltraViolet--Jeff Sessions can't define sexual assault, so he has no business legislating on sexual assault!

One of Trump's biggest allies doesn't think grabbing a woman by the genitals without consent is sexual assault. What's worse: He's in charge of making laws that govern sexual assault. No wonder our legal system so often fails rape survivors.

When asked about Donald Trump's bragging comments, Senator Jeff Sessions (R-AL) told reporters following Sunday's presidential debate, "I don't characterize that as sexual assault. I think that's a stretch."1 WHAT?!

Sen. Sessions is a former U.S. Attorney, if you can believe it, and is a senior member of the Senate Judiciary Committee. We cannot have men like this deciding judicial nominations and laws governing sexual assault. Republican leaders are scrambling to disassociate themselves from Trump before the damage to their party gets even worse--so we have a lot of leverage to force them to take a hard line on comments like this. Can you sign the petition?

Tell the Senate Committee on Committees: Remove Sen. Sessions from the Judiciary Committee. Men who can't define sexual assault can't make our laws governing sexual assault.
Sign the petition

Sessions was even given a chance to clarify when a reporter asked, "So if you grab a woman by the genitals, that's not sexual assault?" "I don't know," Sessions replied.2

First he says it's not assault, then he says he doesn't know. It's unbelievable, but it's no surprise Sessions takes sexual assault so lightly when you consider that Sessions voted (twice) against cracking down on sexual assault in the military; voted against the Violence Against Women Act, which improves services for survivors of assault; and voted to keep giving military contracts to companies like Halliburton that prevent their employees from taking sexual assault cases to court.3

Sessions' comments disqualify him to serve on the committee that is the first body to make and consider these laws, and show he is more interested in defending Donald Trump than standing up for women and the law he, as a U.S. Attorney, swore to uphold. If we all speak out together, we can ensure senators like Jeff Sessions no longer get to wield such power over laws affecting women's autonomy. Can you sign the petition?

Tell the Senate Committee on Committees: Remove Sen. Sessions from the Judicary Committee.

Maggie for NH

I wanted to make sure you saw the news from over the weekend. After weighing the political math, Kelly Ayotte, who stood with Trump for months despite his anti-woman comments and actions, has now determined that voting for Trump would sink her chances in November and gave a self-preserving statement that she will write in someone else on Election Day.
This is cowardly, calculating, and far too little, far too late, and it's up to us to make sure someone as spineless as Ayotte NEVER makes it back to Congress.
Governor Maggie Hassan has always called out Donald Trump's behavior for what it is — vile and inexcusable. A group of generous donors has stepped up to match online gifts to Maggie's campaign because they know that the best way to stop the Ayotte agenda is to double up on our resources.
Let's stop this once and for all.
Emily Mellencamp Smith
Finance Director, Maggie for NH

Everytown for Gun Safety

My mom, Dawn Lafferty Hochsprung, the principal of Sandy Hook School, was murdered along with 20 first graders and 5 of her colleagues, on December 14, 2012. After the shooting, Senator Kelly Ayotte helped block efforts to strengthen our gun laws and help prevent future tragedies.
She decided standing with the NRA was more important than saving lives. But now that she's facing re-election, she's hoping voters won't remember that she blocked policies that a majority of New Hampshire voters -- and Americans -- support.
Well I haven't forgotten, and I need your help to remind voters in New Hampshire, too. We're going all out to hold NRA-backed politicians like Ayotte accountable. And if we succeed, we can make an example out of Ayotte and send a message to every member of Congress: "If you vote with the NRA and against public safety, we will kick you out of office."
But to do that, we're going to need the resources. That's why a generous Everytown donor has pledged to DOUBLE every gift made up to $100,000.
Help hold all gutless politicians like Kelly Ayotte accountable for voting with the NRA. Give now and your gift will have TWICE the impact.

Give now to defeat politicians beholden to the NRA and your gift will be matched.

$25 = $50

$35 = $70

$45 = $90

$50 = $100
I'll never forget Kelly Ayotte's vote against a bill expanding background checks for all gun sales following my mother's murder. I asked her at a town hall after her spineless vote why she voted no, and do you know what she said? Because she was concerned about "burdening" gun owners with the inconvenience of having to complete a background check.
I've always wondered why the burden of my mother being gunned down in the halls of her elementary school isn’t more important than that.
Since then I've traveled to confront Ayotte at numerous events, appeared in the media to correct the record on her positions, and help recruit new voters committed to holding her and other NRA-backed elected officials accountable.
Now, I'm asking for you to join me and help kick out Kelly and other politicians beholden to the NRA. Ayotte's running in one of the toughest races this election, and every little bit matters when the country -- including other NRA-backed politicians -- is watching.
This is our chance to use Ayotte as an example for the entire country to see. Will you step up now? Pitch in $25 (or whatever you can) and your gift to defeat Ayotte and other politicians who cave to the NRA will be DOUBLED.
For my mother, and for all Americans affected by gun violence, thank you for your support.

Daughter of Dawn Lafferty Hochsprung, shot and killed December 14, 2012

Why stand apart, when we can rise together

Federal housing is allowed to have much more lead than the government recommends.

Lower the childhood lead exposure threshold!

sierrarise-button-sign-share

Children living in federally-assisted housing may be exposed to four times the level of lead that is considered by the government to be safe.
The government wants to fix this disparity by lowering the limit on childhood lead exposure to match federal health recommendations.1 Back up this proposal by filing a public comment in support of the lower lead levels.
The problem is a web of confusing and contradicting standards between agencies. The Department of Housing and Urban Development hasn't updated its Lead Safe Housing Rule in 17 years, way too much time given what we know now about the health hazards.
Even low amounts of lead can cause children to develop behavior, learning, and hearing problems, as well as hyperactivity, lower IQ, anemia, and seizures.2 Lead can be fatal, and there's no time to wait.
The government estimates that this change would help protect children living in 128,000 housing units across the country -- an alarming number of kids who could be overexposed to lead right now and can't accept any delay.
Get the government to protect vulnerable children from hazardous lead. Please write in before the October 31 deadline.
As Housing and Urban Development Secretary Julián Castro said himself, "There is no amount of lead in a child's blood that can be considered safe." Thank you for helping us reduce this toxin's presence in our homes.

In it together,

Alexander Rony

    Now that they understand
But they're a little late to the party...
mAnn Coulter and FUX Noise have been
calling to revoke women's vote for years!
    ********************************************

    Movies!

Let's start out with something a little different--a laugh at Hillary. Like I've said before, there's no mystery that politics is like making sausage and that it's actually a good thing to invite the "bad actors" to become "good actors" for their own and everyone else's good (the discussion is here, under the day's m00bies).

Let's all be sure to watch the next debate so we can see just how far Putin's hand is up Drumpf's fat, unattractive, pasty, saggy, wrinkled old-man ass...

Ugh, Douchebag Donald "celebutante freeloader-in-thief-wannabe and LOSER" Trump is SUCH a CREEPER...!

Seth Meyer on the sexual assault bombshell allegations against Herr Drumpf. So, why didn't these allegations come out sooner? Just ask all the women who finally came out against Bill Cosby.

Well, that settles it, ladies--no positions of leadership for you because God. Ha!!

Ruh roh, Reorge--this girl has the right idea, but she's awfully brave to pull a stunt like that around Trump supporters...!

Hum, I think Alex Jones is talking about Donald Trump, not Hillary. Oh, man--I have tears streaming down my face from laughing at Alex Jones's spew! ...Some thirty years ago, when I used to visit friends in State College, PA, I'd often hear Penn State students and alumni sing this little ditty: "I got flies on me, you got flies on you, but there ain't no flies on JoePa," referring to Joe Paterno, who was revered then but who is now known for turning a blind eye to Jerry Sandusky's sexual abuse of minors in his care. I guess JoePa had flies on him after all. You know who else has flies on him? ALEX JONES. Boy howdy--does his beet-red face, complete with glazed-over eyes, say "CRAZY" or what?!?? Calm down, Alex--don't give yourself apoplexy there now!

And here's O'Bama's answer to Alex Jones. Ah, O'Bama is a class act. I'll miss him! He was far more respectful to Alex Jones than I would have been.

Ooga booga! Pat Robertson is a creeper himself. Hasta be if he thinks he can defend the indefensible piece of shit that is Donald J. Trump. Ben "Brain and brain! What is brain?" Carson is a creeper, too.

I love me some Elizabeth Warren--she got Stumpf to resign! It's a start, but, as Cenk says, Stumpf belongs in prison. And I agree that it was really the stock price drop that drove the resignation...and that those greedy assholes should never get golden parachutes for failing and being fired.

Drumpf is pulling out of Virginia? Good--now I can go tell my favorite real conservative that he can vote his conscience--Jill Stein. That's gonna make him and me both happy!

Oh, snap--RUDEy Giuliani caught in yet another lie....

If the last vid was an "oh, snap," then this one is an "Oh, double snap--snappity snap!!"--Drumpf calling NFL players "soft"...just as he called veterans with PTSD "weak." And there in this video is Ricardo Lockette with a broken neck from stinkin' football--a stinkin' game. He knew how badly he was injured as they were working on him on the field. Watching the video made me sick for that young man, whose life is changed forever. Srsly, Donald J. Trump--that soft, weak, fat old bastard LOSER--had better watch his ass before one of the people he lurves to pick on hands him his saggy wrinkled ass on a tacky chrome-plated plate. Maybe some upstanding disabled person will step up and put the loser in his rightful place.

Here's TYT again--the great white grape defends the great white grope by attacking the idea of consent. Talk about cementing the rape culture into place in America...! Srsly, what planet is Stinky McLimburger from again--Uranus?--that he doesn't know that sex without consent IS by definition rape? Apparently, conservatives' moral standards for sex do NOT include consent...I guess they go by the Bible, which clearly says that women are chattel property--basically just annoying talking livestock--which means that the real rape victim is the woman's male owner. I love Cenk's and John's reactions...!

Randi Rhodes on Drumpf's death spiral. Hey, guyz 'n' galz--if you love you some Randi Rhodes as much as I love me some Randi Rhodes, then please go buy a stinkin' podcast! I'm going to...just after I click "publish" and just before I pour me some Fireball!

Ugh, it's way past time to close Gitmo. Losing battles like the one to close Gitmo is the price we pay for democracy. It's a price I'm willing to pay--unlike Drumpf, who wants to crown himself dictator. Oh, Atheist God--John Oliver is fucking brilliant!!!!!
