Oh, boy...here I am again, jumping right into the melee with hardly an introduction.

You'd think I have a lot to say.

Apparently, I do.

America, haven't we been screwed long enough?

Don't we owe it to ourselves to get out from under the heel of the rich, for whom all our hard work creates such vast wealth?

Isn't it time we finally got the piece of pie we worked so hard to earn?

Isn't it time we finally decided to live in reality, as uncomfortable as it sometimes is, instead of wallowing in the delusion of magical thinking?

Well, I think so.

The only Americans clamoring for "free shit" are the rich and powerful. They're the ones trying to dodge their taxes and stiff us with the bill. They're the ones who want free or cheap slave labor. They're the ones rigging the market in their own favor. They're the ones who buy and sell Congressmen, Senators, and so on. And the fat-cats we vote into office--except Bernie--are only too willing to sell us out. It's not the poor--they're the ones getting shafted, starved, or, if they're Black, shot by police or thrown in jail for stupid shit like having weed.

I think we owe it to ourselves to create government that serves ALL of US.

We owe it to ourselves not to be so polite...we owe it to ourselves to mock mercilessly those deniers of reality who call themselves Christians, Tea Partiers, and Republicans.

America, it's time.

It's our time; we worked hard for it; we earned it fair and square; we deserve it.

Let's go get it already!!!!!

ThinkProgress has an article today describing how Duck Dynasty's Phil Robertson supports Ted Cruz, including wanting to "rid the earth" of marriage equality supporters.

Yep, this is the same Phil Robertson who wants to jihad Crusade against the infidels Muslims all over again, shouting "CONVERT OR DIE."

Just like ISIS.

As if Robertson's remarks aren't sick and twisted enough, Cruz had the bawls to praise him and his verbal filth, calling him a "joyful, cheerful, unapologetic voice of truth."

These people's hatred nauseates me. They spew perversion and filth to make a buck, to stay in the limelight, or both.

What's worse: their grasp of reality is tenuous at best.

Need an example?

Here's one straight from the article: Robertson says that, of the many sinful acts, “sexual immorality is number one on the list.”

Really? Consensual sex between two loving adults is worse than rape? Or murder? REALLY?!??

Just what planet do these maniacs live on?

Oh, yeah, that's right--they live on Planet Scare-the-shit-out-of-the-gullible-and-control-them-and-steal-their-money-pretending-it's-for-God.

Do you really want a President who welcomes Phil Robertson and Pat Robertson? Who embraces their advice?

Really?

As ThinkProgress reminds us, Ted Cruz's radical agenda for America includes a lot of nasty changes for non-white, non-male, non-Christian, non-heterosexual, non-multi-millionaire, non-American-born people.

Whew!
That was quite a list!

Did I leave anyone out?

Oh, yeah!
I left out
non-indefinitely-perfectly-healthy (he wants to repeal Obamacare and replace it with "Just phuquen die already!"),
non-bulletproof (Ted hearts the NRA, so people like Jefferson Heavner and his family can suck it),
and non-immortal (the Koch brothers pay him handsomely to be a science-denier, so they're all planning to bring popcorn and watch the world burn).

America, if you are at all interested in living in a sane world--if you're interested in living at all or leaving a livable world to your children and grandchildren--DO NOT ELECT THIS FANATIC  IDEOLOGUE President!!!!!

Trump is crazy, stupid, and narcissistic, but Cruz is crazy, stupid, and DANGEROUS!!!!!

5 Things to Know About Ted Cruz
The nice people who made this graphic forgot to mention that Ted Cruz wants to abolish same-sex marriage--he is an evangelical and has fellow evangelical Phil Robertson as a wealthy donor and supporter. If you really want to make yourself sick, go look up Ted Cruz's father, Raphael, and see what he has to say as an evangelical preacher. If Raphael's lips are moving, he is lying...and ickle Teddie the road apple doesn't fall far from that shit tree.

They also forgot to mention that Ted Cruz lies through his teeth about global warming: he uses DISCREDITED satellite data--discredited because the satellite's orbit decayed, so its measurements were inaccurate--to shill for the Koch brother oiligarchy by pretending that global warming "ain't happening." (Google lists quite a few articles discussing Cruz's climate lies.)

People, this is OUR PLANET that Rapture-Ready Teddy wants to destroy.

This is the only home we've got!

Don't let these imbeciles...who live in a fantasy world of magical sky daddies and who think that money can insulate them from natural and their own manmade disasters...sucker punch us and the planet into oblivion!

And now, a word and a petition from DKos about that poison water in Flint, Michigan...am I the only one who's pissed at what the Republicans there have done to the disadvantaged communities? On top of that, Snyder--may he resign NOW and go to JAIL--requested federal disaster funding for what he acknowledges is a MANMADE DISASTER...of his own making. O'Bama (as Dot Calm liked to spell his name) was too gracious, and too concerned for Flint residents, to deny the request. Ya think maybe O'Bama knows that, if he hadn't ponied up, Snyder would have retaliated on Flint yet again? Who can be sure he wouldn't have taken another pound of flesh from those he's already heartlessly poisoned?

Nearly 1,000 undocumented immigrants living with poisoned water in Flint, Michigan don’t have access to emergency services because they lack proper identification. The uniformed National Guard at the distribution centers posted signs that say a state-issued ID is required to get clean water.

The impact is devastating. Flint’s undocumented residents not only face contaminated water, but also increasingly punitive immigration raids and enforcement. They are faced with an impossible choice: either risk poisoning their families or separation by callous deportation.

Sign the petition: Tell Governor Rick Snyder to direct the National Guard stop asking for ID and to remove signs telling people ID is required for clean water.

Almost 15 weeks after a report exposing the high levels of lead toxicity in Flint’s water was released, Governor Snyder declared a state of emergency, and called in the National Guard.

State officials have already said that ID is not required to get clean water. Signs posted at the distribution centers needlessly intimidate undocumented immigrants seeking the help they need to keep their families from getting sick or sicker. They need to come down.

We cannot let Governor Snyder drag his feet any longer when it comes to ensuring the health and safety of Flint residents. Regardless of immigration status, everyone deserves clean water and access to aid.

Sign the petition: Tell Governor Rick Snyder to direct the National Guard stop asking for ID and to remove signs telling people ID is required for clean water.

    Keep fighting,

Hey, Dot Calm Readers and fellow Truth Crusaders! Do you think Rapture-Ready Teddy knows about this?

I love the visual on this graphic--it reminds me of the spoofs of ready.gov. I hope the roof hatch's designers offer easy-open hatches for believers' windows so they don't flap against the glass like concussed flies when You-Know-Who comes back. Wouldn't it be funny if the rapture had already come and gone, and Jesus came and went without telling the Christians that they're stuck down here indefinitely with the rest of us? Wouldn't it be funny if the only people He took with Him were the kind, loving aboriginal native tribes who've never so much as seen a Christian?
