Itz Monday--have some moar moobies!

Happy Monday, Dot Calm Readers!

I hope you enjoyed Friday's film feAst and Wednesday's funnies and nooz.

Alas, this morning, we heard about the passing of David Bowie: Rock Legend, Visual Artist Extraordinaire, and all-around Awesome Gentleman. I have always been a huge fan of David and his art and music. Like Dot Calm, Starman lived and died on his own terms. He even left us a new album, Blackstar, as a going-away gift. R.I.P. dear David--so long, and thanks for all the fish...er, great art and music!

With that sad nooz, we bring you moar film shorts along with a few wisecracks to brighten your day.

Let's drink a toast to David and Dot Calm--our favorite audiophile--wouldn't it be fun to imagine him serenading her right now with all his greatest hits?

Cheers!

My Tea Party Christian friend expects to see only himself when he looks at other people...
when he looks in the mirror,
he thinks he sees only God.
This is why he is 100% convinced that everyone but him is completely screwed up,
but only he is Perfect.

If you're Black in America,
just because you're paranoid doesn't mean that the cops aren't out to get you.
********************************************

Bill Maher at the Reason Rally (pretty funny):

********************************************
Republicans are not attacking
the reproductive rights of all women...
Middle class or rich women can go wherever and whenever they want to get birth control and safe, legal abortions on demand...Republicans can make it annoying as hell, but they can't stop it.
It is only the poor and very young who become mandatory brood mares for the state if Republicans get their way.

Cannon fodder, anyone?
********************************************

********************************************
If women used guns
to protect their reproductive rights,
Republicans would IMMEDIATELY
demand gun control.
********************************************

Stated clearly, the evidence for evolution:

********************************************
            Congress's 2015 accomplishments:

1. Collect lavish tax-paid salaries 10x higher than minimum wage.
2. Enjoy tax-paid benefits that their own tax-payers can't afford.
3. Get the Christian white middle and lower classes to blame the Blacks, poor, women, immigrants, Latinos, Muslims, and LGBTQ for how the rich white Christians are robbing them blind.
4. Paul Ryan grew a beard, so now his fellow tea bags are calling him a closet Muslim.

It all goes pear-shaped after that.

********************************************

The Young Turks found the REAL War on Christmas--so why isn't Bill O'Reilly howling up a storm?

********************************************
If Blacks swaggered around open-carrying machine guns over their shoulders,
Republicans wouldn't be able to pass
gun controls fast enough.
********************************************

Carly Fiorona is appalled, appalled I tell you, at being fact checked--just watch her eyes as she lies. Creepy as hell!!

********************************************
Democrats who don't vote elect Tea Party Republicans.
Tea Party Republicans assign SCOTUS judges like Antonin Scalia.
SCOTUS judges like Antonin Scalia do not read the Constitution.
SCOTUS judges like Antonin Scalia do not "believe in" the first amendment.
SCOTUS judges like Antonin Scalia believe the government CAN impose religion.
********************************************

Stuart Varney, accused of being a fracking liar, melts down:

********************************************
The SCOTUS decision favoring Hobby Lobby is a line-item tax veto.
It allows Hobby Lobby to decide what its employees can do with the benefits they earn because of the corporation's

"closely held beliefs."

They gave the corporate "person" more rights than the human (female) person.

That is like a company with vegan managers legislating that its employees cannot use the salary they earn to buy steak.

There is one difference...
Steak is definitely meat,

but no amount of Christian hand-waving
makes contraception = abortion.
Don't believe me?
You don't have to...
LOOK IT UP!

Bernie Sanders's plan to break up the big banks--listen up, friends, because Bernie's plan would be the shot in the arm this nation needs. That's one of many things I like about Bernie: he actually has plans, and he explains them in detail.

If you REALLY want to reduce abortions,

    Otherwise, just be honest:
admit that you want to control women's vaginas.
