The end of America
Welp, there it is, folks: the American electorate has voted to destroy itself and everyone and everything within its reach.
American voters have voted to cede voting and hand the reins of the nation to a madman--a sick, demented, narcissistic sociopath--in perpetuity.
American voters have voted to burn down democracy itself in favor of a christo-fascist authoritarian dictatorship.
American voters have voted to destroy everyone in need and turn all our money over to the idle, lazy rich.
American voters have voted to destroy our justice system and let the criminals run free to do their worst.
American voters have voted to destroy our national defense and hand us over to our adversaries.
American voters have voted to fight our allies and bend over for our adversaries.
American voters have voted to destroy our health care system and replace it with quack nostrums and magical thinking.
American voters have voted for ignorance over education--for superstition over science and reason.
American voters have voted for hate over love, for poverty over prosperity, and for suffering and cruelty over peace and joy.
American voters have voted to end America as a civilized, developed nation.
American voters have voted to destroy not only our society but also our ecosystem as fast as humanly--or inhumanly--possible.
I don't disapprove of flushing American empire as a concept down the big jacuzzi, but I would have preferred more of a coming together of all nations into a global partnership that values and nurtures all people rather than handing us over to those who lust to destroy us.
I don't disapprove of mercy for criminals, but I'd have preferred this batch to be defanged rather than rewarded with all of our state secrets and the keys to Fort Knox.
I don't disapprove of dismantling what's flawed in our media, health care, and education systems, but I'd have preferred to improve them for the betterment of all people rather than merely destroying them for destruction's sake.
In a few short weeks, maga will burn America down to the ground. I can only hope that a better society that loves and values life and cooperation over money, fear, and hate emerges from the ashes.
Let's all please do our part to start building that better society now. Our current sanity and future prospects depend on it.
