Glenn Beck: Japan earthquake was a "Message from God"
Syndicated talk host Glenn Beck's latest controversial statement comes amidst one of the most powerful earthquakes ever recorded, the resulting tsunami that killed thousands and the nuclear meltdown of reactors in Japan over the last six days.
Beck says on his radio show, "I'm not saying God is, you know, causing earthquakes. I'm not saying that either. What God does is God's business.
Wow! Beckster! Sounds like you’re on an inside track! And all that prayin’ I’ve been doin’ got me nowhere. What’s your secret,. o sacred one???
But I'll tell you this -- there's a message being sent ..
Yeah...yeah...what’s the message...huh? huh?
And that is, 'Hey you know that stuff we're doing? Not really working out real well.
What stuff? You mean stuffing the turkey? Oh, rats! She told me to stop eating animals and go vegetarian!
“Maybe we should stop doing some of it. I'm just saying." Beck has received rebuke for some of his comments, including from the women of the daytime TV show "The View," including a comment by Joy Behar responding to Beck's comments, saying "Thou shalt not advance your career on the backs of the Japanese people right now."
