After a century of striving, after a year of debate, after a historic vote, health care reform is no longer an unmet promise. It is the law of the land.

Wow! Look at us...the last of the developed countries to finally have gotten around to health care for its citizens. Oh, it wasn't easy! Those who had it made the most noise. Have we really become so insensitive? I don't get it. It's no skin off my nose to have all Americans covered. And, I imagine it allows many of those folks to see a doctor for the first time in years. I'm hearing that health care costs have gone down for the very first time. What could be wrong with that?
