What Oil?

Corexit is a product line of solvents primarily used as a dispersant for 
breaking up oil slicks. It is produced by Nalco Holding

Company which is associated with BP and Exxon. Corexit is the

most-used dispersant in the Deepwater Horizon oil spill 

in the Gulf of Mexico, with Corexit 9527 having been replaced by 
COREXIT 9500 after the former was deemed too toxic.

  Oil that would normally rise to the surface of the water is broken 

 up by the dispersant into small globules 

that can then remain suspended in the water.

Senator Burr:
  Why on earth did you vote against Elena Kagan? Good grief! Is she more or less capable than Judge Clarence Thomas?
  Is your vote so partisan you can't bring yourself to confirm Elena Kagan? Why, that is: a) irresponsible and b) one lousy reason!
  Women need more female judges on the Supreme Court; we need MORE representation, not less.
  I always supported you, Senator Burr; I no longer can if you insist on NOT supporting women and women's issues.

Whether you choose to read them isn't the issue...the fact that our President simply followed along the same path as the last administration is dangerous...

It doesn't take a rocket scientist long to realize that this country is repeating errors made in the Vietnam war...And we all know how that turned out...But it is even worse this time...Our country is BROKE!

We're getting American kids killed or injured and we leave the injured ones to languish at Walter Reed Army Hospital...We let our infrastructure rot...Do any of you remember the bridge in Minnesota that simply collapsed taking the rush hour cars along with it?

In 2001 a stress inspection was done and Minnesota Department of Transportation stated that the bridge "should not have any problems with fatigue cracking in the foreseeable future." Right! Except that it collapsed!

Look, folks...we need every dollar (that we don't already owe the Chinese) to fix and mend our own country's infrastructure...not Iraq...not Iran...not Afghanistan...AMERICA!
