Dragon Blogger

Howdy, Guys 'n' Gals -

I be the Dragon Blogger today
...because me butt be draggin'!

Sorry to bail--again!--but I'm going to leave you with a few links and videos for the day, and I hope to come springing back wide-eyed and bushy-tailed on Monday.

Take care of you, and have a great weekend!

A lot of Trump supporters think
that emancipating American slaves
was not a good idea.
How many of these Trumpets

call themselves
Biblical literalists?

NonStampCollector's video on evolution vs creationism is just too damn frustrating to be funny. Can YOU listen to what the biologist character is saying? Or are you like the Kent character, who's not even wrong?

DonExodus2's video about Noah's ark and the cheetah spells out the genetic reason why the ark story is impossible: with far more than just the one mating pair in the Bible story, cheetahs are so hopelessly inbred that you can graft skin among "unrelated" individuals and still not see immediate tissue rejection. If there really had been a global flood that killed nearly every living thing, then every species would be even more inbred than the cheetahs. And we would be able to see it in the DNA of every plant and animal. You know what's really sad? I could give my Tea Party Christian friend a copy of the peer-reviewed journal article on cheetah inbreeding and skin grafting, and he still wouldn't realize the implications of the paper in resoundingly disproving the Noah's ark story.

Richard Carrier on the mythology of Jesus. It's amazing how the mythology of the Gospels is constructed and how that construction debunks the historicity not only of Jesus but other Biblical characters.

Just wanna shout out a big eff-yew to all the anti-magic sandwichists out there, who reject the overwhelming evidence of the Cookbook, which prophecies that eating the magic sandwich cures cancer, and the proof that the prophecy is true because SchlockofGod's neighbor ate the magic sandwich and was cured of his cancer. It's comical watching these deniers change the rules of the debate to suit themselves. Why, you'd think that the Christian in the video isn't a Christian at all...I think he's an atheist! Nice to see one of these dingleberries get a taste of his own medicine!
