14 December 2017 update: although the FCC did indeed vote to dismantle Net Neutrality, the battle is NOT over! KEEP CALLING your governor and your members of Congress and tell them to KEEP Net Neutrality! Several states are suing the FCC over its decision--make sure yours is one of them.

Three quick points before I start headin' fer mah beddin'...

1. Victory is sweet--pro-choice tough-on-crime prosecutor Doug Jones beat pedophile, child molester, Constitution-hating, bigoted, misogynistic cowboy-wannabe Roy Moore in ALABAMA, of all places, gaining a Democratic seat that has been solidly Republican for the past 25 years. Yay and thank Atheist God--Doug only won by 1.5%, which is far too narrow a victory of common decency over Republicanism. But Doug DID win...and now we have to pressure TURDleman McConnell to seat Doug immediately...a tall order, given his lawless denial of Merrick Garland's and countless other Obama judicial seats.

So, yes, as usual--CALL THE BASTARDS (scroll down for their contact information).

2. The FCC's Net Neutrality vote is TOMORROW. Here's the game plan:

As usual, the GOP likes to piss and shit on our victories before we can even snort a swig of Fireball to savor them--the House and Senate have reached an agreement on the vicious, murderous tax scam bill designed to kill millions upon millions of us ordinary Americans in order to enrich the already bloatedly rich.

Again, they want to steal all the money that you and my dad and I have poured into Medicaid, Medicare, and Social Security for decades, and they want to fork it over to those who least need and deserve it yet who feel most entitled to it--America's millionaires, billionaires, and corporations.

The Republicans intend to move forward with a vote before Christmas, and we must do everything in our power to stop them.

As every Black voter in Alabama knows, skin color does not protect you from Republicans--they are coming after each and every one of us non-millionaires and non-billionaires, no matter how lily white or hardworking or devoutly Christian or staunchly Republican or rabidly pro-tRUmp...and they won't even be satisfied with stealing our money this time because it's our blood they're after.

So, please, friends, call...call, e-mail, and fax the bastards like your life depends on it BECAUSE IT DOES...hound the bastards like I do...hound the bastards like my dad does.

Call the short list first; then call, e-mail, and fax the rest of the bastards because this is OUR money they want to steal from us and give to the lazy rich bastards who didn't earn, don't need, and don't deserve it.
