Walp, dear ones, it-snot like there isn't a crap-ton I could write about today...with tRUmp in the White House, slow n00z daze have become an endangered species.

But since the Congressional recess limits our battles at the moment, I guess you could say I'm feeling relatively...almost peaceful.
As relatively almost peaceful as one could feel, given that the loofa-faced orange shitgibbon, aka Fuckface von Clownstick, aka Combover Caligula, aka orange Twittler (as Randi Rhodes calls him, aka orange twAtler, as I call him) has us on the brink of NUCLEAR war with North Korea as a FIRST resort...and we as a nation are relying on lunatic Kim Jong-un to be the sane one...
*sigh*
In other words, well, no, I'm not really feeling peaceful at all.
I guess you might say I'm relatively at peace with what I'm able to do at the moment in that there's only so much I can do at the moment.
I guess I'm also feeling relatively almost hopeful now that we know--weeks after the fact--that the FBI raided one of Paul Manafort's homes, as evidenced by several real-news articles and one very telling fake-news hit piece against Manafort from tRUmp's boosters at the National Enquirer.
The latter tells us that tRUmp's turned on Manafort because maybe Manafort has already turned on tRUmp.
Good.
Also, by involving Manafort's son in law, Mueller has shown tRUmp that sons in law are not off limits.
GOOD.
Many people are saying that the intensity and escalation of Mueller's investigation have unhinged tRUmp even farther.
Erm, how can they tell?
Still, though, this is Very Good N00z.
It means that Bob Mueller runs a tight ship.
We only found out about the newest Grand Jury weeks after it had been impaneled--only after subpoenas had been issued.
We only found out about the raid on Manafort weeks after it had happened...and we know that either Manafort pleaded the 5th Amendment, or he was cooperating but not enough to earn the trust of the FBI.
We know that the FBI had an airtight case, or they would never have gotten the warrant for the raid.
And we know that the agents left the house carrying at least some of the evidence they'd sought.
I think it was Tea Pain on Twitter who opined that every single crook in the tRUmp junta has damning evidence against the others to protect themselves in case any one of them goes down. In other words, they all would have had to destroy all the evidence for a cover-up to work, but, since none of them trusts any of the others because they all know that they're all crooked, they all kept evidence to incriminate each other to save themselves.
You've heard the expression "there is no honor among thieves"...
Of the tRUmp junta, Manafort and Sessions are touted to be the least stupid--or, at least, the best at self preservation.
So, call me overly optimistic, but I'm betting that Manafort's evidence is yummy.
Tweeps have also mentioned that tRUmp's decree to exile trans people from the military came out on the same exact day of the raid on Manafort's house...meaning that tRUmp knew...meaning--I'd imagine--that Manafort called him immediately after the fact. tRUmp knew he needed to put out a YUGE story to capture the n00z cycles pre-emptively before the raid could become front page headlines....and Bob's your trans uncle.
Hm.
Other Tweeps have been piecing together the back story and concluded that PEWtin has been grooming tRUmp as a puppet predisent since the mid double-aughts and that PEWtin likely has kompromat on tRUmp going back to the 80s. Oh, and PEWtin has owned the GOP for nearly as long as he's owned tRUmp.
I wouldn't be surprised.
What I do know is that
- We have been reduced to begging our government daily not to kill us. 'Tis what 'tis, and it-snot changing any time soon.
- I've been all over Resistbot all week, demanding that Congress "fireproof" Mueller.
- I've been all over Resistbot all week, demanding that Congress impeach tRUmp--between his repeatedly blabbing top secret information and above and his threatening to drag us into nuclear war, there is plenty of proof that tRUmp is unhinged, unfit, unqualified, unwell, and unable to discharge the duties of local dog catcher, let alone the predisency.

Well, friends, we survived another insane session of an insane Congress trying--insanely--to cover the fat bloated Russian rump known as the insane, monstrous donald tRUmp.

But, hey--tRUmp is taking yet another vacation, and so is Congress.
That means we have a nanosecond to catch our breath.
So let's mourn our losses,
