STATIC

Friends, there's more to tell from "STATIC" (only $10 at https://www.democracynow.org/gifts/books/static).

I'll go into more detail next time, but, for now, just know that it would make your blood boil to know the lies and propaganda that chimpco perpetrated illegally on American citizens...not only by lying to our media directly (cough, yellow cake and aluminum t00bz, cough) but by blowing hundreds of millions of OUR tax dollars to stand up propaganda media outlets in Iraq--actual fake news chimpco mouthpieces for fun and profit--to tell lies not only to the Iraqis (who were too clever by half to believe any of it) but to the American people as the chimpco lies and propaganda were picked up and disseminated to us by our media by credulous, incurious groupies who didn't fact-check their stories. Like Judith Miller (urk!).

Srsly, friends--g'head and drop the lousy $10 to learn your history from chimpco so that chumpco can't force us all to repeat it!

8 March: International Women's Day

Friends, I made the painful decision not to skip work on Day Without A Woman.

Oh, it grieved me.

I so wished I could have done more.

*sigh*

None of us can do everything, but if we all do what we can, we can do a lot together.

One commenter on either CADOF or CCC likened fighting in The Resistance to singing in the choir: when the score calls for impossibly long notes, individual singers take breaths at different times so that everyone breathes but the music stays strong.

I hated to, but I had to breathe this one out.

That said, I see The Resistance as chumpco's death by a thousand cuts. And some of those thousand cuts will be paper-cuts...you know the kind...they 'neak up on you and bleed like a sonofabitch, and they sting to high heaven when you get salt or lemon juice in them.

So, yeah, like that.

So, I participated the best I could with petitions; since I didn't have access to a women-owned company to buy from, I spent nothing. My dad and I also wore red, and my dad called our elected officials specifically to urge them to do right by the women of the nation and the world.

And I can tell you that the traffic on the train was freaky-light while the parking garage was freaky-full...which tells me that, despite the lack o' estimates, the protest(s) in town were well attended (i.e., the women were on the trains into town before I arrived to park at the station).

After the 21 January women's march, organizers sent round e-mails asking attendees to text in so that they could establish a count. I think that's where the 400,000 number came from. I hope they do the same for this march--I'd love to know how many women locally and worldwide turned out.

Postcard Campaign

Hey, friends! My bestie was here last week, and she gave me some bee-yoo-tee-ful postcards designed by a friend of hers for sending to our elected officials and sharing our concerns and grievances.

Here are a few concerns and grievances I plan to send. I think it's worth every penny of the 13 cents each!

Hey, Chaffetz--when is the 11-hour hearing for Mr. Pence, since the PRIVATE AOL (srsly?!) e-mail account he used for OFFICIAL government work WAS HACKED, allowing HOSTILE AGENTS access to SENSITIVE GOVERNMENT INFORMATION?

Hey, Chaffetz--would you REALLY have let Hillary off the hook without investigation, impeachment, and prosecution to the full extent of the law if SHE'D been the one with the Russian ties, corruption, conflicts of interest, emoluments, and potential TREASON? Be honest now!

Hey, Chaffetz--how is trumpcare going to make $30,000 chemotherapy cost the same as a $650 iPhone? Inquiring minds want to know--bigly!

Hey, Chaffetz--how is trumpcare going to pay for chemotherapy with tax credits unless people get hundreds of thousands of dollars back on their taxes? What about people who don't even make hundreds of thousands of dollars? What do you want them to do--hurry up and die?

Hey, Chaffetz--why are you telling my boss to stop providing health insurance for employees? Ph.D. engineers in their 50s make $150,000-175,000 if they're lucky--not nearly enough to pay out of pocket for chemo. Is it good for the economy to let Ph.D. engineers--of which we have a YUGE shortage--die for lack of health care?

Hey, Chaffetz--why do you want to deny POOR women access to contraceptives--which PREVENT abortion--and why do you want to deny poor people cancer screenings and treatments by dismantling Planned Parenthood? Why do you enjoy murdering innocent Americans?

Hey, Chaffetz--my brother-in-law has metastatic spinal cancer. Why do you want to murder him? My sister and nieces wish you didn't.

Hey, Chaffetz--how are you enjoying being the death panel now?

Hey, Chaffetz--how is forcing ALL states to "participate" and letting insurance companies charge 30% more after a lapse in coverage NOT an individual mandate?

Hey, Paul Ryan--NY security for Melania costs $1 MILLION/day, and Palm Beach police cost $60,000/day every weekend the vacationer-in-chief spends there. Obama's security cost $79 million TOTAL over 8 years--unlike trump, at least Obama paid his taxes. Where's all your high-and-mighty fiscal responsibility now? https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2017/feb/20/trump-family-security-new-york-palm-beach-taxes

Hey, Ben Carson--how long did it take you to recover after doing a lobotomy on yourself?

Hey, trump--can't you find better-fitting diapers?

Well, I may not send that last one.
Or...I may! Hehe!

*****

CA-48: California GOP Rep. Dana Rohrabacher has easily won re-election in his coastal Orange County seat for decades, and Democrats haven't seriously targeted him since he beat Huntington Beach Mayor Debbie Cook 53-43 in 2008. However, while Rohrabacher won 58-42 last year, his well-educated 48th Congressional District rebelled against Trump, shifting from 55-43 Romney to 48-46 Clinton. This area remains very red downballot, but the huge swing gives Team Blue some hope that they can take down Rohrabacher in a good year. However, Trump's close loss here doesn't seem to have Rohrabacher remotely concerned. Rohrabacher remains an ardent Trump ally, and he was the only Orange County Republican House member to defend Attorney General Jeff Sessions for covertly meeting with the Russian ambassador.

Rohrabacher, who reportedly was considered as a Trump secretary of state, has also demonstrated some very Trumpy behavior on foreign policy. Rohrabacher remains one of the very few Republicans not named Donald Trump to vigorously defend Vladimir Putin, at least in public. Rohrabacher has also met with French far-right extremist presidential candidate Marine Le Pen, gone on Albanian television and declared that "Macedonia is not a state" and should be split up and given to other countries, and gotten involved with his close friend and disgraced ex-lobbyist Jack Abramoff in a strange plan ostensibly to help the Republic of Congo defeat the terrorist group Boko Haram.

It's still going to take a lot of luck for Democrats to beat Rohrabacher in a seat this ancestrally red, but local apathy to Trump and the congressman's own behavior may give them an opening. A few days ago, real estate company owner Harley Rouda announced that he would run here as a Democrat. The Los Angeles Times' Christine Mai-Duc says that Rouda is wealthy, though its unclear how much of his own money he can or will spend, or if he has the connections to raise the sums he'd need to advertise in the expensive Los Angeles media market. Another Democrat, real estate broker Boyd Roberts, is also in. However, Roberts took dead last in a 2012 school board race and launched an aborted campaign against GOP Rep. Ken Calvert in the safely red 42nd District, so he doesn't seem too serious.

Rohrabacher himself doesn't begin the 2018 race with a huge financial head start. Rohrabacher had just $238,000 on-hand at the end of last year, and the congressman isn't anywhere near wealthy enough to self-fund. Last year, Rohrabacher also indicated that he was planning to leave Congress very soon, but he said in December that he'd "probably" run again. It's almost always more difficult to beat an incumbent than to win an open seat, but Rohrabacher may be tone-deaf enough that Democrats should hope he seeks re-election.

Senate

MA-Sen: Famed Red Sox pitcher turned-disgraced video game businessman Curt Schilling has announced that he won't challenge Democratic Sen. Elizabeth Warren and will instead support Shiva Ayyadurai, who dubiously claims to have invented email but definitely used to be married to actress Fran Drescher.

ND-Sen: Even though GOP Rep. Kevin Cramer seems determined to insult as many women as possible as he mulls a campaign against Democratic Sen. Heidi Heitkamp, he still likely remains the national GOP's top choice. Still, state Rep. Rick Becker says he's "seriously considering" running, but Becker doesn't seem like a particularly serious candidate. Becker, a libertarian-flavored Republican whose signature issue is curtailing the use of surveillance drones by police, ran for governor last year. However, Becker dropped out before the GOP primary after losing the state party endorsement to Attorney General Wayne Stenehjem, who went on to badly lose the primary to now-Gov. Doug Burgum.

WI-Sen: Milwaukee County Sheriff David Clarke, a particularly obnoxious Trump supporter who is still technically a Democrat, is currently hawking a new memoir. Clarke has also been mentioned as a potential GOP candidate against Democratic Sen. Tammy Baldwin but his book contains the passage, "I'm not running for mayor, I'm not running for congressman, I'm not running for senator, and I'm not running for governor." Seems pretty conclusive, right? Well, not according to Clarke, who said on Thursday, days after the book was published, "I never say never; I haven't totally closed the door, but I think it's less than 50 percent that I'd run for the Senate." Not many authors will contradict the very product they're trying to sell, but Clarke's a go-getter.

Gubernatorial

AL-Gov: Several Alabama Republicans are mulling a run to succeed disgraced Gov. Robert Bentley next year, and a new name is expressing interest. Mark Johnston, who has served for 26 years as the executive director of Camp McDowell, a large camp affiliated with the Episcopal Diocese of Alabama, says he's "decided to explore the possibility of running for Governor of Alabama in 2018." Johnston did not say what party he belongs to, but it would be a big surprise if he ran as anything but a Republican.

Not many people win major office just after serving as the head of a large Christian camp, but Johnston does have one potential role model to look to. Oklahoma Republican James Lankford spent about 13 years as head of a large Baptist camp, and stepped down just before he ran for an open U.S. House seat in 2010. An early primary poll gave Lankford just 7 percent of the vote and prominent D.C. conservative groups backed another candidate, state Rep. Kevin Calvey. Few political observers took Lankford seriously, including us: Back when Daily Kos Elections was known as the Swing State Project, we repeatedly called Lankford a Some Dude. Even after Lankford earned endorsements from Mike Huckabee and ex-Rep. J.C. Watts, he shocked us all when he not only made it to the primary runoff, he led the far-better funded Calvey 36-33 while brushing past two other state representatives.

At the time, Politico wrote that the fact that Lankford had never held political office helped him stand out in the crowded field. However, Lankford was also credited with running "an aggressive, grassroots-oriented effort that mobilized the local Christian community." Calvey decisively outspent Lankford in the runoff, but Lankford won 65-35 to take the GOP nod for this safely red Oklahoma City seat. In 2014, when no one could mistake Lankford for a Some Dude, he still beat ex-state House Speaker T.W. Shannon by an unexpectedly wide 57-34 to win the GOP primary for an open Senate seat. Lankford's background as a Christian camp director was credited with his blowout victory, with Roll Call writing afterwards that his "large network in the Baptist community that knows and respects the congressman" helped give a formidable voter-turnout system.

However, there's one huge difference between Lankford's Baptist-affiliated base and Johnston's potential Episcopal one. According to the Public Religion Research Institute, 25 percent of Oklahoma identifies as Baptist, while only 1 percent of Alabamans identify as Episcopalians. Still, if Johnston can emulate Lankford and use his camp credentials to convincingly portray himself as a political outsider, it could be a huge asset during an ugly time in Yellowhammer State politics. To start with, Gov. Bentley is currently facing a possible impeachment for allegedly using state resources to cover up an affair with a staffer.

Bentley recently appointed Luther Strange to the Senate even though as state attorney general, Strange's office was investigating Bentley, a fact that Strange tried to cover up. Another powerful Republican, state House Speaker Mike Hubbard, was also recently sentenced to prison for illegally using his office to make money for his business. If Johnston can get his name out, he may be able to present himself as a compelling alternative to politics as usual.

CT-Gov: In 2014, then-state Senate Minority Leader John McKinney lost the GOP primary to Tom Foley 56-44, and he's mostly kept a low profile since then. However, McKinney tells the CTpost that he's considering another gubernatorial campaign.

McKinney has a reputation as a moderate, which could help him in the general in a blue state like Connecticut, but hinder him in a primary. Most notably, McKinney voted in favor of Democratic Gov. Dan Malloy's gun safety legislation in the aftermath of the Sandy Hook massacre, something the CTpost notes will likely be used against him by another Republican. Back in 2014, Foley also ran ads arguing that McKinney had worked with Malloy to increase taxes, and other Republicans would likely try a similar tactic. McKinney also drew some bad headlines in 2014 after his campaign ran an ad that edited a clip of Foley saying, "I'm not saying I'm going to cut spending; I'm saying I'm going to hold spending flat" into "I'm not going to cut spending."

Malloy himself hasn't announced if he'll seek a third term next year, though he says he'll decide in the spring after the budget is done. Malloy has posted some very bad approval ratings, and a number of Republicans are mulling this race. We can also add one additional potential candidate to the list: Back in January, New Britain Mayor Erin Stewart announced that while she would seek re-election this fall, she wasn't ruling out a gubernatorial bid. Interestingly, we haven't heard much from Foley, who narrowly lost to Malloy in 2010 and 2014. In June of 2015 Foley sounded interested in a 2018 bid, but he's been quiet since then.

FL-Gov: No Republicans have announced that they'll run to succeed termed-out Florida GOP Gov. Rick Scott next year, though state Agriculture Commissioner Adam Putnam's huge fundraising doesn't leave much doubt about his plans. State House Speaker Richard Corcoran has also been mentioned as a potential candidate for a while, but until recently, he never publicly expressed interest. However, Corcoran now tells the Tampa Bay Times that he'll decide on a gubernatorial bid after the 2018 legislative session ends next March.

Corcoran has a very strained relationship with Scott to say the least. In the past few months, Corcoran has worked to abolish Scott's $85 million Enterprise Florida program, which gives out business incentives that the speaker calls "corporate subsidies." The state House has also tried to severely cut Scott's $76 million tourist marketing bureau Visit Florida, which earned some unwanted headlines after the public learned it had secretly paid the rapper Pitbull $1 million to promote the state, including in his "Sexy Beaches" video. Scott has responded by going to the districts of defiant state House members and publicly shaming them, and he's been loudly feuding with Corcoran in particular.

Scott seems more than ready to take their battle to the ballot box, and an unnamed ally of Scott's recently told Politico that if Corcoran runs to succeed him, Scott will get his buddy Donald Trump "to drop the boom on him at just the right time and ruin his chances with Republicans." However, Corcoran may have one big asset if he gets in next year. The Times notes that Corcoran is very close to the Koch brothers' political network, which could help him raise the money he'd need to compete in Florida. State Sen. Jack Latvala and eccentric rich guy Ron Bergeron are also talking about getting in, while Scott is reportedly looking for a wealthy candidate to run.

On the Democratic side, things are starting to come into focus. Days after Tallahassee Mayor Andrew Gillum became the first candidate to announce for this open seat next year, Orlando-area real estate company owner Chris King also joined the primary on Thursday. While King's father, David King, was the lead attorney in overturning Florida's GOP-drawn congressional map under the state's "Fair Districts" laws, the younger King doesn't seem to have many political connections. Politico says that King is wealthy, but it's unclear how much of his own money King can or will spend in what will be a very expensive primary. Ex-Rep. Gwen Graham and Miami Beach Mayor Philip Levine both also likely to get in, while wealthy trial attorney John Morgan and Tampa Mayor Bob Buckhorn are also looking at the race.

MA-Gov: While it would have been fun to see Rep. Joe Kennedy III, a grandson of Robert F. Kennedy, challenge GOP Gov. Charlie Baker, there was no sign that he was interested. And sure enough, a Kennedy spokesperson tells the Boston Globe's James Pindell that Kennedy will run for a fourth term next year. However, businessman Chris Kennedy, the congressman's uncle, is running for governor in Illinois.

House

IA-03: Democrat Anna Ryon, an attorney for the state Office of Consumer Advocate (whom we initially misidentified as "Anna Ryan") announced on Thursday that she would challenge second-term GOP Rep. David Young in this Des Moines-area seat. Ryon's announcement comes shortly after wealthy investor and defeated 2016 primary candidate Mike Sherzan announced that he would run again.

This seat swung from 51-47 Obama to 49-45 Trump and Young decisively won in 2014 and 2016, but Team Blue can't write this district off if they want to retake the House next year. Prominent longtime political consultant Pete D'Alessandro has also talked about running, and state Sen. Matt McCoy tells Bleeding Heartland that he'll decide in the fall of 2017.

McCoy flirted with running last cycle, and Roll Call reported at the time that national Democrats were nervous about him. Back in 2007, McCoy was tried for attempted extortion by federal prosecutors, though he was acquitted by a jury; in 2008, he paid a fine to the state ethics commission for making an illegal campaign contribution; and he had a poor attendance record as a state lawmaker. In response to concerns about him, McCoy said one reason the DCCC was hostile to him is because he is gay. It's unclear who, if anyone, national Democrats prefer to face Young this time.

Mayoral

Charlotte, NC Mayor: Last year, state Sen. Joel Ford formed an exploratory committee to prepare for a fall Democratic primary challenge against Mayor Jennifer Roberts, and he announced he was in on Thursday. Ford has a reputation as a moderate: Notably, while Ford has expressed opposition to the state's anti-LGBT law HB2, he's argued that Roberts and the Charlotte City Council should never have passed its human rights ordinance when it became clear that the GOP-led legislature would act in response.

Charlotte Mayor Pro Tem Vi Lyles has also announced that she will challenge Roberts in the Democratic primary. If no one takes more than 40 percent of the vote on Sept. 12, there will be a primary runoff on Oct. 10. No notable Republicans have announced that they'll run in November yet, though conservative Councilor Kenny Smith says he's considering.

Omaha, NE Mayor: On Wednesday, Republican Tim Dunning, the sheriff of Omaha's Douglas County, announced that he was supporting Democratic ex-state Sen. Heath Mello over GOP Mayor Jean Stothert in this spring's mayoral race.

Dunning backed Stothert during her 2013 campaign, and the two were viewed as political allies for most of her term. However, they've recently been in conflict, with Dunning faulting Stothert with trying to annex new neighborhoods into the city without providing an appropriate police presence. Dunning also insists that Stothert's "attitude" caused problems, claiming that the mayor has called him to yell at him so many times that he's blocked her number. Stothert responded by saying that it was irresponsible for Dunning to block her, saying that he could put the city in danger if she can't reach him in an emergency.

All the candidates will compete in the April 4 non-partisan primary, and the top two contenders will advance to the May 9 general. It's very unlikely that anyone but Stothert and Mello will advance, and the general election cannot be averted if someone takes a majority in the primary. However, Mello is hoping for a strong showing in April to prove to his backers he can win the real contest the next month.

Daily Kos Elections Morning Digest

Leading Off

ND-Sen: GOP Rep. Kevin Cramer, allegedly Mitch McConnell's top recruit to take on Democratic Sen. Heidi Heitkamp next year, is really, really not helping his cause. During a "radio town hall" Wednesday morning, Cramer decided what the world truly needs is more men commenting on how their women colleagues dress professionally:

"But by the way, did you notice how poorly several of them were dressed as well? It is a syndrome. There is no question, there is a disease associated with the notion that a bunch of women would wear bad-looking white pantsuits in solidarity with Hillary Clinton to celebrate her loss. You cannot get that weird."
Ah. So not only are their sartorial choices and political preferences in question, their very mental health is as well. Women love being talked about in this manner, of course, which is why Cramer apologized so fulsomely later that same day. Oh wait, just kidding:

"But at the same time, they looked silly. I don't buy their argument that it was a celebration of suffrage. I think they should be celebrating the fact that there were women members of Congress sitting in a joint session, listening to the President of the United States on equal footing as a co-equal branch—and sort of get over this notion that somehow we have to be offended all the time."
See, little ladies? You should be just thrilled that, not even a hundred years after you were so generously given the right to vote, we're now allowing you to sit alongside us men on the floor of Congress to listen to a speech! So stop with your "silly" protests and just behave yourselves already.
It looks like Republicans are hell-bent on repeating their mistakes from 2012, when they nominated then-Rep. Rick Berg, Cramer's predecessor, to run against Heitkamp. Berg turned out to be spectacularly unlikeable, and the way his campaign approached women was a key factor.
Berg's most notable flop was a brutally stilted ad he ran featuring four older women sitting at a diner talking made-up smack about Heitkamp. The spot—which Berg quickly tried to hide—was bitingly derided as a "senior citizen remake of Mean Girls," and the actors' cattiness toward the sunny and pleasant Heitkamp made Berg look sullen and venomous. In a state that prides itself on being "North Dakota nice," Berg wound up looking anything but—and Cramer's managing to do the exact same thing.

But if there's one Republican who probably won't be bothered by Cramer's definition of women's outreach, it's Donald Trump. Indeed, Cramer claims that Trump has already promised to support him if he challenges Heitkamp. Cramer also says a Senate bid is "not a top-of-the-mind issue for me right now, and it won't be for several months." After hearing some of the stuff that does seem to be at the top of Cramer's mind, we can believe that.

P.S. Special thanks to Daily Kos community member stevemb for resurrecting the ad that Rick Berg didn’t want you to see!

Gubernatorial

OK-Gov: GOP Lt. Gov. Todd Lamb has been flirting with a 2018 bid to succeed termed-out Gov. Mary Fallin for a while, and it sounds like he'll make his plans known sooner rather than later. Lamb recently told the local station KOKC that he's leaning towards getting in and while he didn't say when he'd make a final decision, he said that "I think you'll probably hear something about that in the very near future." Lamb recently got some attention when he resigned from Fallin's cabinet to protest tax increases he argued would hurt small businesses.

House

IL-12: Ho-lee sh*t. This is a real quote from GOP Rep. Mike Bost explaining why he's not holding any town halls:

"The amount of time that I have at home is minimal, I need to make sure that it's productive. You know the cleansing that the Orientals used to do where you'd put one person out in front and 900 people yell at them? That's not what we need. We need to have meetings with people that are productive."
So now town halls are the equivalent of Maoist "struggle sessions"—and leave it to a Republican congressman to describe them in the most racist way imaginable. Mouth agape.
MT-AL: The special election to succeed Republican Ryan Zinke, who resigned to head the Interior Department, will be May 25, and both parties will soon know who their nominees are. The GOP has scheduled their nominating convention (there is no primary) for Monday, while the Democratic convention will be held the day before on March 5.
NH-01: This week, ex-state Liquor Commission Enforcement and Licensing Director Eddie Edwards, who also used to serve as police chief of the small town of South Hampton, expressed interest in seeking the GOP nod to take on Democratic Rep. Carol Shea-Porter. Edward also used to serve as director of community relations for ex-GOP Rep, Frank Guinta, though he resigned in the midst of Guinta's campaign finance scandal. A little while ago, state Rep. John Burt also talked about challenging Shea-Porter in a seat that Trump won 48-47. WMUR has also mentioned state Sen. Andy Sanborn and ex-state Commissioner of Health and Human Services John Stephen as potential candidates, though neither man has publicly expressed interest yet.

I'd add: donnie's, too.
*****

Moar M00bies!

Ben Carson wants to put something inside your haid...because he's got NUTHIN' in HIS!

Moar Stephen...he also had Michael Hayden on to manufacture consent to all the CIA illegal domestic spying that Hayden says that the CIA doesn't do. It was refreshing to hear a government official, even out of office, give straightforward yes-and-no answers. Too bad I'm too skeptical to believe him and be comforted. Makes me glad I don't own a (Samsung) tee vee! Hum...my Tea Party Christian friend just got himself a shiny new Samsung TV. I wonder what he will do with it in his infinite tinfoil paranoia...

According to my Twitter feed, Rachel Maddow is unstoppable lately. I plan to most more of her stuff in coming days. Many people are saying that the pillars of the trump administration are starting to wobble...

...And if these vids aren't enough fer ya kidz, then by all beanz, go binge-watch some Randy Rainbow, will ya?!??

7 March 2017 entry:

Greetings, fellow Dot Calm Readers, Freedom Fighters, and Truth Crusaders!

As I mentioned last time or so, I'm reading "STATIC" by Amy Goodman and her brother David.

The timing of my reading this book--a prezzie from the precious Dot Calm herself--wobbles the mind because chump is so eager not merely to repeat chimp's mistakes but to outdo them bigly.

Like torture.

Yep, chump wants to torture...moar moar moar torture...not merely those who are guilty of terrorism, and not merely those who are suspected of having committed terrorism or conspiring to commit terrorism, but their families.

You read that right.

If you ever had any doubt that chump and the Republicans are completely devoid of humanity and decency--and are steeped not merely in greed but sadistic cruelty--well, there's your proof.

We're not talking freedumb tickling here, friends.

We're talking being stripped naked and whipped with electrical cords. Having your fingernails ripped out. Getting electrical shocks to your genitals. Having foreign objects rammed up your ass. Being restrained in painful positions and left there for hours on end.

Not to mention being left 24/7/365--except for the beatings--in a dark cell with no daylight and with feral cats and rats above pissing and crapping on you because your cell is too small to lie down in and there's no bed or blanket anyway.

And, of course, there's freedumb baptizing...also known as waterboarding.

You know what I think?

I think that chimpco's entire administration--from that filthy cockroach himself to dick cheney (before he dicks you) to rummy to wolfie to the rest of the WAR CRIMINALS--MUST be brought to justice and prosecuted to the full extent of the law.

And chump, ban'em, and every other sadistic, torture-hungry Teathuglikkant, like my Tea Party Christian friend, should be dragged off with bags over their heads and treated to the whippings and beatings and "stress positions" and electrical shocks to their genitals and having foreign objects rammed up their assses and cold and dark and animals peeing and pooping on them (oh wait--trump might like that!) without any sense of how long their torture will last or whether they'll ever be allowed to make a phone call, let alone be set free to see their families again.

Same for chimpco.

Friends, I'm not normally a violent person, and nor do I usually promote violence, but I think that giving these monsters--who are too insulated from real suffering by power and wealth and who daily renounce reality--what they so callously, gleefully wish on innocent others may be the only way to teach them human compassion.

*****
Hey, friends...
wanna kick trump's tiny bawls
(assuming we can find them)?
Then kick in your
buck o' five!

And here's moar stupid:

Repuke men decided they wore "ugly white pants suits in honor of Hillary."
Can you say, "Repuke men DON'T think women should be allowed to vote"?
I knew you could!

Susan McCreary commented on Betty Bowers's post that, if Obama really did wiretap trumpPEWtin, it would be "the first time in history that trump had MORE people listening to him than he thought": "BREAKING NEWS!!! It wasn't a wire tap, it was a baby monitor."

*****

In response to Conservative Clown Car's post from Daily Kos, "Donald Trump spends 31 percent of time on vacation, plays golf 8 times in 6 weeks—on taxpayer dime," Rob Cross quipped, "A 70 year old man who watches 6-8 hours of TV a day and spends weekends on the golf course in Florida isn't a president...that's a retiree!" (Christopher J. Blanchard added, "They play best ball so Trumpet can keep up.")

Remember Ike's 90% income tax rate
on our nation's highest earners?
THAT was how we built
the interstates,
public schools that were
the envy of the world,
the space program,
and a democracy
that was NOT for sale.
***
Remember unions?
THAT was how we had
decent salaries
where a family of four
could live on one income,
vacations,
weekends and holidays,
workplace safety,
and a fighting chance
for the individual
to have representation
against the rich and powerful.
***
Republicans want us to FORGET
how we could and SHOULD live...
They don't want us to have nice things.
They want to keep all the goodies
for their fat, bloated, greedy, rich
selves.
DON'T LET THEM!!!!!

ICYMI--friends, this is REALLY important!!! Speaking of trumPEWtin's Russian connections, how many Russian agents has PEWtin murdered since the election? Eight? Or is it nine now?

Carter Page is one creepy mofo. Is it me, or does he too look like some Harry Potter villain? (Last time I mentioned it, I said that chump is Dolores Umbridge. Only she's nicer, smarter, and prettier.)

Friends, here's another of Randi's that you DON'T want to miss: an explanation of chump's Russian connection so simple that even an alt-right soggy teabag can understand it. Spoiler: trump bankrupted himself six times...after he trashed Atlantic City with his failed casinos, American banks refused to lend him more money to piss away...so he went to Deutsche Bank, China's state-run bank, a-a-a-a-nd Russia's state-owned Alfa Bank. (Ultimately, they all loaned him some $650 million, IIRC, which he is still probably struggling to pay off.) While he was "building" in Atlantic City, he got thick with the mafia. And while he was "building" afterward in New York, the mafia connections introduced him to Russian mobsters and oligarchs looking to launder their "flight money" by buying American properties. So the Russian oligarchs and trump got thick as thieves as the oligarchs bought up all of trump's condos. And when trump went "building" in Florida, the oligarchs showed up there, too, to buy trump gems, like a distressed $25 million mansion with leaky roof and mold. Everything's a-a-a-a-ll nice and legal (if repulsive) up to this point. But then PEWtin invaded Crimea, and Obama slapped him with sanctions. The conjecture is that the oligarchs told donnie that they could no longer support him in the manner to which he had become accustomed, and the outcome was that he'd run for president so he could overturn the sanctions...and he may have whinged to PEWtin that he'd need help to win...a-a-a-a-a-nd so we have Russia hacking the DNC and RNC and leaking the DNC while presumably saving the RNC for blackmail later. But DO watch the vid, kidz. Randi does a MUCH better job of splaining it than I just did, and she's funnier, too.

Cenk's first-blush reaction to chump's "OBUMMER WIRE TAPPED MEH" whinge

Friends, don't miss this one, either. Lee nails the dumbing down of America by the wealthy libertarian (The Koch brothers of their time) elites. Oh, and the CIA pays drug lords...presumably so we can have a war on drugs that keeps Blacks imprisoned and away from the voting booth.

Kate McKinnon is amazing. Is there NOTHING she can't dew?!?? Mark Wilson made a great comment on FB God's page: "Iggy Pop should play Kellyanne Conway." Only Iggy Pop is so much smarter, nicer, and handsomer. (I heart Iggy Pop!!)

Here's Uday and Qusay...or is that Qusay and Uday...?

Republicans BURNed for teh win! They gonna need industrial-strength aloe for that 'un.

chump: spoiled, tantrum-throwing child in chief. Ugh. I guess that explains the fat-ass diapers.

Oh oh oh oh, I LURVES me some Randy Rainbow! I think this his best gem yet!!!!!

    Many people are saying
that, when asked if he wears a diaper,
    trump replied,

    Action List

PROTECT yourself financially, reproductively, and medically.

    1. If you need a loan, get it NOW--rates have already gone up; they went up at least three times the first week or two after the election. MOVE your retirement out of the stock market and into a stable fund that is guaranteed NOT to lose your principal--if you're not risk averse, keep your money in stocks until after the inauguration...but move it out ASAP afterward because, once chump and the teathuglikkkants deregulate Wall Street, we are in for a bust that makes chimp's Great Recession look like O'Bama's recovery. Thom Hartmann, Randi Rhodes, and their guest speakers agree that the Rethugs and chump will crash the economy by deregulating the stock market so quickly our haids will spin. The boom-bust cycle repeats every 80 years or so--as long as it takes for the last people who remember what a depression was like and fight the greedsters to die off. We're phuqued.

    2. If you're a woman of reproductive age or a man who knows and loves women of reproductive age, stock up on as much "Plan B" (the "morning after" pill) as you can afford NOW. Plan to take one pill either immediately after unprotected sex or the morning after unprotected sex, and plan to take another pill 24 hours later. No matter what else you do, STOCK UP NOW on Plan B because even the best contraceptives fail, and you won't be able to get an abortion once chump and the teathuglikkkants take over. Men, get yourself snipped while you still can, too.

    3. If you're a woman of reproductive age and don't already have an IUD or contraceptive implant, get yours NOW. Mirena has progestin, not estrogen, and can reduce your period; the copper ones without hormones (like Paragard) can cause cramping and heavy bleeding that doesn't go away until the device is removed (think having the second day of your period for a year at a clip). Of these two IUDs, women seem to prefer Mirena, but the device can still fall out. Cosmopolitan has a great discussion on these and other IUDs, what's involved with getting one (not a big deal, but you'll bleed for at least a week afterward), what's involved with having one removed (also not a big deal, but you'll bleed for at least a week after). "Managing Contraception" has an article on Mirena (not scary). If I were you, I'd skip the Skyla--it only lasts 3 years, so you wouldn't even be done with the orange fuckwad's first term if you get one. Planned Parenthood has a video about contraceptive implants and great information about all forms of contraception. And if you think you might need a do-it-yourself abortion some time in the future, go talk to Planned Parenthood NOW and see if you can stock up on mifepristone now--the options for DIY abortions at home using substances like vitamin C seem promising to desperate women but don't have any scientific backing. You can also try womenonwaves.org and womenonweb.org.

    4. Don't take any new drugs approved after 2016 without doing your own research into whether they're safe and effective. Republicans are weakening the FDA to the point that it will no longer be able to verify that new drugs will work and not harm us.

Now, do your daily actions, make your daily calls, and do the rest...

    DAILY ACTIONS!

Go to Michael Moore's FaceBook page and do whatever is on his to-do list:
    https://www.facebook.com/mmflint/

Here's a list of short-term actions you can take right now!

    1. If you can, sign up for the 29 April 2017 People's Climate March. I called into the telecon Monday evening and found it very useful. Two things stuck out: People's Climate Movement is rather new, so it's small and not yet well funded. However, they're working with the other climate organizations to build the movement and fight trump's disastrous Big Oil, Big Destruction, Big Money, Big Death agenda.

    2. If you can't make the climate march but can come out a week earlier--Earch Day, 22 April 2017--then please sign up for the March for Science. The climate telecon had nearly a thousand callers-in, some of whom lamented that it would be really difficult to attend both marches. I know it took me a week to recover from the Women's March, and I'm local. PCM suggested combining with the science march, but the science march wasn't interested, seeing the protection of science as a separate issue. I disagree in the sense that we have trump's disastrous Big Oil, Big Destruction, Big Money, Big Death agenda BECAUSE of all the climate SCIENCE DENIAL. So, I'll be one of the many PCM callers-in contacting the science march people to try to get them to combine with the climate march.

    3. Go help NASA archive their data--wiki wiki! (Read about it here and click through to the links if you're too lazy to check the archive of this blawg for a direct link.)

    4. Go call trump's businesses and make them pass along your comments to him! Here's the link: https://whitehouseinc.org/...have fun, kidz!

    5. Contact Nordstrom's and Neiman Marcus and THANK them for dumping trump! Amazon may be caving, too, to pressure to ditch Breitbart, so keep bugging Amazon and the rest of 'em to do what's in EVERYONE's best interests--not just in the best interests of white supremacists, haters, bigots, and racists--by signing this petition and boycotting the offending advertisers:  https://actions.sumofus.org/a/amazon-stop-investing-in-hate/?source=taf

    6. If you haven't already, go check out the Indivisible guide: https://www.indivisibleguide.com/. As always, the very best thing you can do is GO IN PERSON to your elected officials' offices and TALK to them. Failing that, PHONE them. If you can do neither, then FAX them--better, if it-snot urgent, then WRITE them a personal, signed letter. Failing all of those, then e-mail them. The guide has moar ways to get involved and stop trump the chump!

    DAILY CALLS!

CALL your U.S. Senators and Representatives DAILY at their LOCAL offices. SHOW UP in person if you can. Call each day with ONE issue--and KEEP CALLING. The staffers track your calls by issue, so don't give in to the temptation of giving them the whole laundry list all at once. Here is our list of demands:

    0. Call your members of Congress now and demand they block trump's cabinet of swamp monsters in its entirety (from The New York Times):

    Senior Adviser to the President

    Appointed
A senior member of the White House staff who serves as a confidant in the president’s inner circle.
Jared Kushner Mr. Trump has named his son-in-law to a senior White House role. The appointment of Mr. Kushner, a major real estate developer in New York who is married to Mr. Trump’s daughter Ivanka, could test anti-nepotism laws. He's being/been pushed out by Alcoholic Steve Ban'em, and we hear he's pretty pissed about being denied the reins of power....

    Director of National Intelligence

    Requires Senate confirmation
The person who holds this post is the president’s principal adviser on intelligence and oversees the entire military and civilian intelligence apparatus. The coordination between the intelligence agencies of the military and civilian wings will be vital for the war on the Islamic State.
Dan Coats Mr. Trump has picked the former Indiana senator. Mr. Coats, who served on the Senate intelligence and armed services committees, would be stepping into a position that some in Mr. Trump’s orbit believe is superfluous.

    U.S. Trade Representative

    Requires Senate confirmation
The president’s chief trade negotiator will have the odd role of opposing new trade deals, trying to rewrite old ones and bolstering the enforcement of what Mr. Trump sees as unfair trade, especially with China.
Robert Lighthizer Mr. Trump has chosen the international lawyer who served as a trade official under President Ronald Reagan. Mr. Lighthizer has been harshly critical of China, and in a 2010 Op-Ed article in The New York Times, he presaged some of Mr. Trump’s talk on trade.

    Homeland Security Adviser

    Appointed
A position that will be equal in status to national security adviser, it will focus on homeland security and counterterrorism.
Thomas P. Bossert Mr. Trump’s choice was a top national security aide to President George W. Bush. Mr. Bossert runs a risk management consulting firm in Washington and is a senior fellow at the Atlantic Council research institution, working on its Cyber Statecraft Initiative.

    Counselor

    Appointed
A close adviser who will help set the president’s agenda and formulate his message.
Kellyanne Conway Mr. Trump’s choice is his former campaign manager, confidante and spokeswoman. Ms. Conway also has a pollster background and therefore may rely on this skill set to keep tabs on public sentiment. --Sewer Rat Propaganda Barbie looks like a barely-revived corpse lately...all that lying must be taking a toll on what little is left of her dying humanity....

Director of Trade and Industrial Policy

    Appointed
A new position that will oversee trade and industrial policy in the White House and direct an internal council that will run alongside the National Security Council, the National Economic Council and the Domestic Policy Council.
Peter Navarro Mr. Trump’s choice is a professor at the University of California, Irvine, who holds a doctorate from Harvard and is the only credentialed economist in Mr. Trump’s inner circle. Mr. Navarro has been a staunch critic of current Chinese economic policies.

    Special Adviser on Regulatory Reform

    Appointed
This new position will oversee the president’s promised effort to unwind as many regulations on business as he can.
Carl Icahn Mr. Trump has appointed Mr. Icahn, a billionaire investor and famed “corporate raider” who buys large stakes in companies and then forces policy changes to benefit shareholders. Mr. Icahn, who was an economic adviser during the campaign, is a longtime friend of Mr. Trump.

Press Secretary and Special Assistant to the President

    Appointed
The press secretary is the face of the White House and representative for the president, framing messaging, responding to stories of the day and briefing the press.
Sean Spicer Mr. Trump chose the longtime spokesman for the Republican National Committee and top aide to Reince Priebus, who is the incoming chief of staff and pressed for his selection. While Mr. Spicer will be the face of the communications team, he will work with Jason Miller, director of communications, and Hope Hicks, director of strategic communications. --Spicey Sphincter (owie!) will never live down the fact that we'll only ever think of Melissa McCarthy whenever we see his mug, hehe!

    Secretary of State

    Requires Senate confirmation
Whether Mr. Trump picks an ideologue or a seasoned foreign policy hand from past Republican administrations, his challenge will be that the State Department is the centerpiece of the post-1945 experiment of alliance-building and globalism, which Mr. Trump said he would dismantle.
Rex W. Tillerson Mr. Trump’s choice is the president and chief executive of Exxon Mobil, whose ties with Russian President Vladimir V. Putin may draw scrutiny during the confirmation process. --We MUST PRIMARY Senator Mark Warner and all the other fascist DINOs who voted TO CONFIRM this fascist piece of shit!

    Interior Secretary

    Requires Senate confirmation
The Interior Department manages the nation’s public lands and waters. The next secretary will decide the fate of Obama-era rules that stop public land development; curb the exploration of oil, coal and gas; and promote wind and solar power on public lands.
Ryan Zinke Mr. Trump has selected Montana’s freshman representative, a former Navy SEAL commander who was an early supporter of the president-elect and ran for office largely on a national security platform.

    Energy Secretary

    Requires Senate confirmation
Despite its name, the primary purview of the Energy Department is to protect and manage the nation’s arsenal of nuclear weapons.
Rick Perry Mr. Trump has selected the former Texas governor, who in 2011 proposed scrapping the Energy Department while he was seeking the Republican nomination for president. --What a mor00n! Will someone please tell this jerk that glasses do NOT make him c-a-t smart?!?? If you're not abjectly terrified that THIS gormless buffoon is in charge of the nuclear arsenal, you should be!!!!!

    Labor Secretary

    Requires Senate confirmation
The Labor Department enforces rules that protect the nation’s workers, distributes benefits to the unemployed and publishes economic data like the monthly jobs report. The new secretary will be in charge of keeping Mr. Trump’s promise to dismantle many Obama-era rules covering the vast work force of federal contractors.
Andrew F. Puzder Mr. Trump’s expected choice is the chief executive of CKE Restaurants — and a donor to his campaign — who has criticized the Obama administration’s labor policies. HAHA, PUZDER YOU LOSER! We won, you lost! You DON'T get to fuck with American workers and give OUR hard-earned money to your richie-rich asshole buds, Puzder you gutter slime! Too bad you're such a hateful abuser. I'm glad for your ex-wife that she kicked your sorry ass to the curb, asshole. I'm only sorry you felt the need to be such an abusive bully about it, you stinking asswipe shitstain. Good riddance!!!

    Small Business Administration

    Requires Senate confirmation
The agency guarantees loans for small businesses, helps them get government contracts and supports their interests on Capitol Hill.
Linda McMahon Mr. Trump has selected the former chief executive of World Wrestling Entertainment to lead the agency. Ms. McMahon, a failed Senate candidate from Connecticut, was with her husband, Vince, one of Mr. Trump’s biggest donors.

    E.P.A. Administrator

    Requires Senate confirmation
The Environmental Protection Agency, which issues and oversees environmental regulations, is under threat from the president-elect, who has vowed to dismantle the agency “in almost every form.”
Scott Pruitt Mr. Trump has selected the Oklahoma attorney general, who is a close ally of the fossil fuel industry. --These greedy fucking idiots think that their money will somehow protect them from the wrath of a hurting, angry planet trying to get itself back into balance...

    Homeland Security Secretary

    Requires Senate confirmation
The hodgepodge agency, formed after the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, has one key role in the Trump administration: guarding the United States’ borders. If Mr. Trump makes good on his promises of widespread deportations and building a wall, this secretary will have to carry them out.
John F. Kelly Mr. Trump has named the retired four-star Marine general, whose son was killed in combat in Afghanistan.

    Defense Secretary

    Requires Senate confirmation
The incoming secretary will shape the fight against the Islamic State while overseeing a military that is struggling to put in place two Obama-era initiatives: integrating women into combat roles and allowing transgender people to serve openly. Both could be rolled back.
James N. Mattis Mr. Trump announced at a rally that he had selected General Mattis, who led a Marine division to Baghdad during the 2003 invasion of Iraq and led the United States Central Command from 2010-13. General Mattis, now retired, has been a critic of the Obama administration. He would need a waiver from Congress to lead the Pentagon because he has been out of uniform for less than seven years. --Being arguably the best of a bad lot isn't saying much. Mattis committed WAR CRIMES. They call him "mad dog" for a reason, duh.

    Treasury Secretary

    Requires Senate confirmation
The secretary will be responsible for government borrowing in financial markets, assisting in any rewrite of the tax code and overseeing the Internal Revenue Service. The Treasury Department also carries out or lifts financial sanctions against foreign enemies — which are crucial to President Obama’s Iran deal and rapprochement with Cuba.
Steven Mnuchin Mr. Trump has selected Mr. Mnuchin, who served as his campaign finance chairman. Mr. Mnuchin, a former Goldman Sachs executive, has deep roots in Hollywood but no government experience. --Hey, trumpkins--how's that swampy drainy thing working for ya?

    Transportation Secretary

    Requires Senate confirmation
The next transportation secretary will oversee Mr. Trump’s campaign pledge to increase infrastructure funding to rebuild America's roads, bridges, airports and transit systems.
Elaine L. Chao Mr. Trump has selected Ms. Chao, the labor secretary under President George W. Bush. Ms. Chao, who is married to the Senate majority leader, Mitch McConnell, has been a fixture of the Republican establishment in Washington. --Way to bribe/blackmail TURDleman, preznit ban'em--just give his wifey a plum job!

    Health and Human Services Secretary

    Requires Senate confirmation
The secretary will help Mr. Trump achieve one of his central campaign promises: to repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act. The department approves new drugs, regulates the food supply, operates biomedical research, and runs Medicare and Medicaid, which insure more than 100 million people.
Tom Price Mr. Trump has selected Mr. Price, a six-term Republican congressman from Georgia and orthopedic surgeon who has led opposition to the Affordable Care Act. Mr. Price has said the law interferes with the ability of patients and doctors to make medical decisions. --If you ever had any doubt that orange twAtler hates women, sick people, and poor people, Tom Price is your answer. Friends, we MUST PRIMARY ANY Democratic senator who voted to confirm this--or any other of orange twAtler's--piece of shit nominee!

    White House Counsel

    Appointed
As the president’s adviser on legal matters, the White House counsel may have an unusually daunting job in the Trump administration, given Mr. Trump’s far-reaching business empire and potential conflicts of interest.
Donald F. McGahn II Mr. Trump has chosen Mr. McGahn, who served as general counsel for the Trump campaign. Mr. McGahn, a Washington lawyer who pushed to deregulate campaign finance and election laws, served on the Federal Election Commission for five years.

    Commerce Secretary

    Requires Senate confirmation
The Commerce Department has been a perennial target for budget cuts, but the secretary oversees a diverse portfolio, including the census, the Bureau of Economic Analysis and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.
Wilbur Ross Mr. Trump has selected Mr. Ross, an investor whose fortune is estimated by Forbes to be $2.9 billion. Mr. Ross has said the United States must free itself from the “bondage” of “bad trade agreements,” and has advocated threats to impose steep tariffs on China. --PRIMARY Senator Mark Warner and all the other fascist DINOs who voted TO CONFIRM this fascist piece of shit!

    Education Secretary

    Requires Senate confirmation
Mr. Trump has said he wants to drastically shrink the Education Department and shift responsibilities for curriculum research, development and educational aid to state and local governments.
Betsy DeVos Mr. Trump has selected Ms. DeVos, a former chairwoman of the Michigan Republican Party and an education activist who is a passionate believer in school choice, as his nominee. --If you ever doubted that the BEST way to get a job in cheeto benito's so-called administration is to BUY it and all the Republican senators on the committee, this mor00n is proof. There's a rumor that chump, spicy sphincter, and the rest of the blithering idiots were all home schooled by this brainless god-botherer.No wonder they're all inarticulate and illiterate...no wonder chump can't read! (Hehe!)  For some humor that's almost too true to be funny, go check out...this: https://www.mcsweeneys.net/articles/betsy-devos-delivers-the-morning-announcements

    U.N. Ambassador

    Requires Senate confirmation
Second to the secretary of state, the United States ambassador to the United Nations will be the primary face of America to the world, representing the country’s interests at the Security Council on a host of issues, from Middle East peace to nuclear proliferation.
Nikki R. Haley Mr. Trump has selected Ms. Haley, the governor of South Carolina, as his nominee. The daughter of immigrants from India, she was a prominent and frequent critic of Mr. Trump early in his run.

Secretary of Housing and Urban Development

    Requires Senate confirmation
The secretary oversees fair-housing laws, the development of affordable housing and access to mortgage insurance. As a real estate developer, Mr. Trump is attuned to the tax breaks for housing development.
Ben Carson Mr. Trump has selected the former neurosurgeon and presidential candidate to be his nominee to lead HUD. Mr. Carson had previously said he did not want to work in government. --Good ol' Indiana Carson, who thinks that the biblical Joseph built the pyramids to store grain during the famine and who said himself that he's NOT qualified for a cabinet post! What on FSM's green earth made him think he'd be qualified to be PRESIDENT if he knows he's too st00pit to run a lowly cabinet?!?? Not to mention...Carson's a total hypocrite for denying his JEEzus by acting as if the brain is the seat of thinking and emotion when the bible CLEARLY says that it's the HEART. At least Carson's not a hypocrite in one sense: he's a true Republican in that, once he got HIS help from the system, he now wants to burn the ladder behind him so that no one else who needs such help can get it. Friends, these people are cruel, hateful pieces of shit...no matter how pious they pretend to be.

    C.I.A. Director

    Requires Senate confirmation
Mr. Trump takes over at a time of diverse and complex threats to American security. The new C.I.A. director will have to decide whether to undo a C.I.A. “modernization” plan put in place this year by Director John O. Brennan, and how to proceed if the president-elect orders a resumption of harsh interrogation tactics — critics have described the tactics as torture — for terrorism suspects.
Mike Pompeo Mr. Trump has selected Mr. Pompeo, representative of Kansas and a former Army officer, as his nominee. Mr. Pompeo is a member of the House Intelligence Committee and was a sharp critic of Hillary Clinton during the congressional investigation into the 2012 attack on the American diplomatic compound in Benghazi, Libya.

    Attorney General

    Requires Senate confirmation
The nation's top law enforcement official will have the authority for carrying out Mr. Trump's “law and order” platform. The nominee can change how civil rights laws are enforced.
Jeff Sessions Mr. Trump has selected Senator Sessions, of Alabama, as his nominee. Mr. Sessions is a strong proponent of strict immigration enforcement, reduced spending and tough-on-crime measures. His nomination for a federal judgeship in 1986 was rejected because of racially charged comments and actions, which are very likely to become an issue as he faces another set of Senate confirmation hearings. --I wonder what all the actual Blacks who voted for chump think about this. Are they glad that chump was the last vote they'd ever be allowed to make?

    National Security Adviser

    Appointed
The national security adviser, although not a member of the cabinet, is a critical gatekeeper for policy proposals from the State Department, the Pentagon and other agencies, a function that takes on more importance given Mr. Trump's lack of experience in elective office.
Michael T. Flynn Mr. Trump has selected the retired Army lieutenant general and former director of the Defense Intelligence Agency. General Flynn has been outspoken about his view of the threat posed by Islamist militancy and was an ardent supporter of Mr. Trump during the campaign. This TRAITOR, who sold America out to PEWtin, was fired/resigned IN SCANDAL and DISGRACE, February 2017!!!

    White House Chief of Staff

    Appointed
The chief of staff manages the work and personnel of the West Wing, steering the president's agenda and tending to important relationships. The role will take on outsize importance in a White House run by Mr. Trump, who has no experience in policy making and little in the way of connections to critical players in Washington.
Reince Priebus Mr. Trump announced on Nov. 13 that he had chosen Mr. Priebus, the chairman of the Republican National Committee. --Some call him "rancid penis." That works. If you're in a more polite mewd, you can call him "blather, reince, repeat."

    Chief Strategist

    Appointed
Stephen K. Bannon was also considered for chief of staff, but Mr. Trump instead named him chief strategist and senior counselor in the White House, saying that he and Mr. Priebus would be “working as equal partners” in the administration.
Stephen K. Bannon Also on Nov. 13, Mr. Trump announced the appointment of Mr. Bannon, a right-wing media executive and the chairman of the president-elect’s campaign. Many have denounced the move, warning that Mr. Bannon represents racist views. --Ah, yes...alcoholic voldemort himself. Many people are saying that ban'em, as the actual acting president, is PEWtin's American puppet master pulling the strings of the fat-assed, loofah-faced orange marionette.

    1. DEMAND they support Barbara Boxer's bill to ABOLISH the Electoral College--popular vote only. DEMAND paper ballots only, and DEMAND audit trails be published in local papers. DEMAND they LET ALL Americans vote (undo voter roll purges and other Black voter suppression) and MAKE Election Day a national holiday for all. And STOP gerrymandering.

    2. Demand that your elected officials FILIBUSTER ALL trump's SCOTUS appointments. Supporting Citizens United or opposing the rights of women, immigrants, non-whites, non-Christians, LGBTQ+, and the poor are UNACCEPTABLE. This is NON-NEGOTIABLE.

    3. DEMAND trump's impeachment--DEMAND he be investigated NOW for corruption and conflict of interest. DEMAND to see his taxes. trump has already committed impeachable offenses, so DEMAND that he be held accountable NOW.

    4. REMIND them THEY'RE FIRED if they don't obstruct, obstruct, obstruct trump and the Republicans from Day 1. If they resist, REMIND them that Hillary WON the popular vote by nearly 3 million.

    5. DEMAND restoration of the Fairness Doctrine--DEMAND fair, fact-based, accurate media free from the false equivalencies and unchecked free coverage that foisted trump on us.

    6. DEMAND that they UPHOLD AND EXPAND on the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and Dodd-Frank legislation. BRING BACK Glass-Steagall!

    7. DEMAND that trump undergo psychological evaluation for fitness for office. Known narcissist, Dr. Sam Vaknin, explains that trump is a narcissist--and that DISQUALIFIES him for the presidency--in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F5he5hXp-rU.

    8. DEMAND a SPECIAL PROSECUTOR to investigate FBI director James Comey and Donald trump for interfering with the election.

    9. DEMAND the Army Corps of Engineers go to Flint to dig up and replace all the poisoned pipes.

    10. PRIMARY ANY AND ALL fascist Democratic DINOs who vote FOR ANY of chump's nominees. NO EXCEPTIONS!!!!!

If or when trump really does set up his Muslim registry, SIGN UP! Trevor Noah suggested this to be funny, but it's gone viral because the racist bigoted assholes can't deport us all, now can they? Keystone Progress has a page where you can pledge to sign up: Pledge to register as a Muslim if Trump creates a registry.

    Boycott List

    Boycott media!

Don't bother with these media outlets any more unless you want trump propaganda--these media outlets have whored themselves out to trump for access for the low, low price of "fancy" cocktails and a "fancy" dinner, consisting of Donald's shriveled orange acorn dick, at chump's "fancy" (aka FAKE PLASTIC, just like everything else about trump and his FAKE PLASTIC family) "resort" in Florida. What an upstanding, responsible response to trump's denying press conferences since 27 July 2016...retch. So much for comforting the afflicted, afflicting the comfortable, and speaking truth to power to keep that power reined in and in check...!
    • Axios
    • Bloomberg
    • Breitbart because duh--according to AlterNet, Howard Dean Lends Voice to Consumer Activist Group Hitting Breitbart in the Wallet—And It's Working
    • CNN
    • FOX because of course
    • MSNBC (includes Joe Scarborough, but Rachel Maddow and Chris Hayes may still be OK as long as their corporate overlords allow it)
    • NBC (they also have the reality TV show conflict of interest--and they just hired a couple of FUX Noise escapees, so beware a hard swing to the far, far right)
    • POLITICO--their top editor(s) went and paid to party with trump, so now more and more trump propaganda has been showing up there, to my infinite disgust
Don't forget to contact these media outlets and their ADVERTISERS and TELL them all why you're boycotting them! So what if we spend a little less money overall? The money we save now may give us enough breathing room to jump ship before trump crashes the economy.

Boycott vendors that support trump, sell trump shit, and otherwise pander to hate!

Boycott Victoria's Secret--they kick out shoppers who are guilty of shopping while Black!

Here's a twofer: let's save our money for when dump tanks the economy and grab the trumpussy grabber-in-thief where it hurts most--by his wallet!

Want to boycott trump? There's an app for that!

And here's a list of trump companies.

There's also a spreadsheet of trump supporters and vendors that carry trump merch that includes the vendors below.
Don't forget New Balance, who praised and supported trump: 1 (800) 595-9138.

Here's the list from Mindy Fischer, featuring 28 vendors that sell trump merchandise. BOYCOTT them all and TELL them why!
