Mosque firebombed by a right-wing terrorist

Last Friday, a right-wing terrorist attempted to firebomb a mosque in Coachella while people were inside praying, exercising their First Amendment rights.
This comes in the SAME WEEK that a man pulled a knife on a Muslim woman at a car wash in Chino Hills, a Sikh temple in Buena Park was vandalized with profane, anti-Muslim graffiti referencing ISIS, and a local office of the Council on American-Islamic Relations in Santa Clara had to be evacuated after receiving a letter containing a suspicious white powder with the message: “Die a painful death, Muslims”.(1)

Please chip in to help victims of hate feel safe in their communities. Your donation will help support Courage Campaign's work to stop anti-Muslim bigotry.

Investigations into these attacks are just beginning, but one thing is quite clear: these attacks are a direct result of the xenophobic hate spiraling out of control throughout our country.
We refuse to just stand by and watch as these racist monsters burn our American values to the ground.

Chip in to help counter intolerance and hate, and help those attacked by anti-Muslim hate.

2015 has been the most dangerous year on record for American Muslims, with 63 recorded attacks on mosques so far. And since Donald Trump showed us all just how backwards and bigoted he is by proposing a ban on all Muslims from entering the US, there has been a surge of anti-Muslim attacks in the United States in the last week, four in California alone.(2)
These attacks are despicable acts of terror and they highlight the fact that our nation is having a crisis of self. We are losing sight of our American values of inclusion, religious freedom, and tolerance. Now more than ever, we need to stand in solidarity with our Muslim friends and neighbors and show them that we will not let hate define us.
Will you join Courage Campaign in standing up against hate and ignorance by helping the victims of the recent anti-Muslim attacks get back on their feet?

Yes, I’ll donate to help stand up against these violent attacks.

No, I can’t donate but I will text “InSolidarity” to 30644 or reply to this email, and share a message of support for these victims.

In solidarity,
Emma, along with Annie, Eddie, Kelsey, Laura, Lindsay, Moonyoung, Paul, Scottie, and Tim (the Courage team)
