Just because some nut who is president of the NRA thinks we should shoot anything that makes us feel uncomfortable (the George Zimmerman syndrome) and ask questions later, just isn’t working out.

Sorry Mr. LaPierre, we live in a society of people not on a shooting range or on a ranch out west.

It’s time to consider serious gun control.

Every American, even those who have never fired a gun, (btw, I have) needs to realize that these automatics are for nothing more than killing people, not fluffy little deer.

So each massacre is bound to be more horrific than the last as each killer says to himself: I can do better than that.

How many of these do we need to witness before we get the message that there are degrees of crazy...from ZERO, to fairly sane, to that bitch just took my parking space, to just having a bad day.

In any event we, as homogeneous beings, have a serious problem. Our problem isn’t evident in any other developed country.

Until it is resolved these shootings will continue; we will be appropriately shocked for a day, and then we’ll resume whatever we were doing.

Soon there won’t be an American who hasn’t been touched by our insane gun control laws...or lack thereof.
