Wow! Those are the very things we all did as kids...especially sleeping during detention...isn’t that what it was for? That’s when we caught up on sleep if we had jobs after school...It’s not like any of us snored...We just got real quiet...What’s wrong with that??! A quiet fell over the detention hall...You’d think the teacher on duty would be grateful! There was just no pleasing them!

That would be Callista Gingrich. Seeing her in the audience last night, sitting stone-faced next to that once-formidable, now-deflated clown Rick Perry, you realized she's the only one in the entire race who has come through this carnival completely unscathed.

The closing of public schools in Chicago is alarming. The wealthy will simply move their children over to Charter Schools. Children in poor neighborhoods simply will not be educated; just ask Mitt.

Sorry to alarm you, folks...but the devolution of our educational system is one of the signs of a country heading for fascism.

The same is true regarding women’s rights.

The Citizens United ruling has brought a flood of shadowy, corporate money into our political process. It’s an attack on our democracy. In a system where one person, one vote is supposed to be the rule, huge corporations are having an outsized influence. Now, a group of Democratic senators has introduced a constitutional amendment to limit corporate influence in elections.

Sign our petition, and demand passage of the Reverse Citizens United Amendment. Voters need to have the biggest voice in our democracy, not corporate-financed special interests.
