Today, we celebrate the fact that voters said “yes” to a president who stands ready to block every effort to wage war on women. Many supporters of fair pay, health reform, reproductive health and family friendly workplaces won in the Senate. And voters rejected candidates who made horrifying statements that demonstrated deep ignorance — and real callousness — about rape and its consequences.
