JPMorgan receives a government subsidy worth about $14 billion a year, according to research published by the International Monetary Fund* and analyses of bank balance sheets? The money helps the bank pay big salaries and bonuses. (This is no joke; I wish it were)

There was a post in the blog regarding this deplorable situation. With so many Americans suffering financially, this seems unbelievable!

Their approaches to this goal are complementary, with the IMF focusing on macroeconomic issues and the World Bank concentrating on long-term economic development and poverty reduction.
