(To be clear: am I glad kirk was shot to death? NO. I don't condone violence, political or otherwise, and I do support the same kinds of reasonable, rational gun control that EVERY other civilized, developed nation has. But am I glad kirk is gone and can no longer harm innocent women, trans people and other LGBTQ+, poor people, people of color, ...? YES. Yes, I am glad kirk is gone. Seriously, how difficult is it to try to live your life so that sane, rational, reasonable, compassionate, DECENT people don't feel a tremendous sense of relief when you die?!??)
