Dear Dot,

Last Saturday, the Houston Independent School System held a job fair in Greensboro, aggressively recruiting Triad teachers to Texas.  

This comes after a new National Education Association report shows North Carolina in the bottom ten in teacher-pay and dead last in the Southeast in funding per-student.  

This is an assault on our public education.

As a former teacher, I am committed to fighting to give our teachers the pay raise they deserve and put more resources in their classroom.
  

Governor McCrory has broken his promise to our teachers, students and working class families.  

Instead of investing in education, he has supported massive tax giveaways to millionaires and large corporations.  

Join us in our fight against McCrory.
 
The fact is this: McCrory cannot support massive cuts to public schools in order to fund tax giveaways to millionaires and large corporations in places like Texas and China.  

We can't do this without you.
