Social Security

Republicans have raided $670 billion from the Social Security trust fund over the last 4 years alone to help pay for their giant tax breaks for the wealthiest elite.

The majority party seems to forget that during the Clinton years, we ensured Social Security trust funds were locked away so they could not be used by the Federal Government. That quickly changed after Bush came to town, and now congressional Republicans are being disingenuous by attempting to sell their Social Security proposal as a way to prevent the trust fund from being raided in the future.

Have we forgotten that the social security trust fund has been raided time and time again? It gave and it gave until there is simply nothing more to steal.

I waited and waited to see how long it would take before the Social Security Trust Fund was completely stolen and there would be nothing but IOUs as Bush claimed. He was just getting us conditioned for the eventual burglary.

Remember Al Gore telling us (unsuspecting fools) that the Social Securing Trust Fund is untouchable and safely in a Lock Box?

Beck overcame a difficult childhood but ultimately graduated from high school in Bellingham, Washington in 1982.  Though he graduated, Beck himself admits that he "spent more time in the parking lot than in class." He never attended college.  He became an alcoholic.  While recovering from his alcoholism, Beck became a self-taught genius.  He put books in every room so he could become well learned.  And he didn't just read like you or I. Oh no.  He read books that contradicted each other (classic comics?).  In doing so, Beck became a well balanced juggernaut of knowledge.
